We’re excited to share that Taylah, one of our vibrant young participants, is taking on a very special challenge. She’s walking to raise money for Castlemaine Community House.

After recently finishing school, Taylah wanted to celebrate this milestone by giving back to the local community she loves so much.

A lovely time last week with Bendigo Windarring participants, soaking up the sun in our beautiful parks and checking out the Christmas decorations.

Rosemary had a fantastic day at the Kyneton Show!
She even entered her cat Mel in the Cat Show competition and they took home an award!

Check out Jamie on his recent getaway to Barwon Heads.
Jamie got to check out the Geelong Gaol Museum and caught the ferry from Queenscliff to Sorrento where he enjoyed lunch by the beach and loved exploring the surroundings.

Brigitte & Sharon recently took the train to visit the Melbourne Myer Windows. Brigitte was absolutely thrilled to see the beautiful displays and get into the Christmas spirit.

Everyone had such a fantastic time! The animal presentations were a hit, everyone enjoyed getting up close and learning about the amazing wildlife.

Ivan, Linda, Jamie, Tristan, Robert and TJ had a lovely day out enjoying morning tea and a stroll through the beautiful White Hills Botanical Gardens, followed by delicious fish and chips for lunch at the Golden Vine Pub!

Castlemaine Windarring staff and clients recently came dressed in their best Halloween outfits to participate in our yearly show parade.

Windarring has been participating in the parade for the past few years, and every year our entry seems to get bigger and better!

The parade set off through the streets of Castlemaine where we passed out treats to onlookers, finishing at the show grounds where there were rides, show bags, carnival games, and plenty of action.

Such a fun night was had by all!

Come rain, hail or shine, the Kyneton group never miss a chance for fun! Whether they’re cooking up a storm, getting creative with arts and crafts, or celebrating a very special 70th birthday, there’s always plenty of smiles and good times to go around.

WOW what a week Carole and Sue have had.
Last Saturday dog lovers' festival this Saturday Michael Jackson the Musical.

What an amazing production.
The ladies were glued to the stage.
They both had a wonderful time and are keen to see more stage show productions.

Happy Halloween from the Kyneton team.

Everyone has had a ball getting dressed up in their fun and spooky costumes to celebrate the day, and enjoyed a special Halloween lunch prepared by our amazing cooking group.
