We're Hiring! Casual Disability Support Workers needed to work across our sites in Bendigo, Castlemaine, Kyneton & Gisborne. If you have an interest in working locally, including on weekends, doing sleep overs and/or supporting people with disability in the community, we want to hear from you!!

Exciting opportunities exist for enthusiastic and innovative Disability Support Workers to be part of our team working with people with disabilities to achieve their goals.

Windarring is a registered Disability Service Provider in central Victoria providing community participation programs, employment supports, centre-based programs, youth programs, supported living and respite care.

To be successful in the role you will have:
• A strong participant focus to ensure individual outcomes are achieved.
• Flexibility to work in a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers; and across multiple sites.
• Ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Last weekend Carole and Sue braved the heat to see the world-famous musical Cats. They had a wonderful time and thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Bendigo participants enjoyed a wonderful day out, visiting the Great Stupa of Universal Compassion. They shared a lovely morning tea, explored the beautiful surroundings, and then headed to the All Seasons for a relaxed lunch.

Our School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES) 'Woodwork Microbusiness' is a capacity-building/employment preparation group activity that runs every Tuesday.

Our amazing SLES participants have been busy creating beautiful planter boxes, available now for $50 at the Windarring Castlemaine Recycled Store & Ability Blooms at Windarring - Clothing Recycling & 10c Container Deposit!
