🌟What a New Year’s Eve! 🌟

On 31 December, Henry took the stage at Bernie’s Bar and absolutely lit up the room. 🌟
This moment wasn’t luck; it was months of capacity building, goal setting, and practice, with Henry leading the way. From choosing songs and planning rehearsals to building confidence performing for an audience, Henry has worked hard toward his goal of sharing his music with the community.

Huge congratulations to Henry for turning his goal into reality, and thank you to everyone who backed him - from family to support workers and the Bernie’s Bar team. 🎶✨

MERRY CHRISTMAS !

New Leaf participants and staff had such a great time at our Christmas party today at the park!

Even though the weather wasn’t exactly sunny, it definitely didn’t stop the fun. We shared laughs, enjoyed good food, and made the most of the day together.

Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make it a special time.

🌟 Three Years of Growth and Giving Back 🌟

Three years ago, Darrin had just moved into his own home after four years of homelessness. Today, with the help of New Leaf Disability Supports, he’s not only thriving, he’s giving back to the community.

This week, Darrin and New Leaf Disability Support proudly donated cordial for the Christmas hampers going out to those in need through Hunter Food Relief.

Darrin's journey is a powerful reminder that with the right support, resilience and kindness can ripple outwards to help others.

We couldn’t be prouder of how far he’s come. 💚

A new participant is invited to share a welcoming home with one of our current participants. He has been supported 1:1 and has now met many of his goals and is ready to enjoy shared living with the right house mate.

The Home and Support:

* A gradual, fully supported transition to ensure a positive experience for everyone
* Flexible support ratios (1:2 or 1:3)
* A dedicated team of both male and female support workers
* A home where matching personalities, interests, and comfort comes first

Suitable for a male or female participant.

Interests of the current participant include:

* Karaoke
* Craft activities
* Dress ups and creative fun
