Casual Support Worker & Cleaner
Locations: Morisset, Cooranbong, Blue Haven, Cameron Park, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, Hunter, and surrounding areas
Hours: 10-20 hours per week (initially)
We are seeking a passionate and reliable Support Worker and Cleaner to join our team. This casual position involves providing support to participants in the community and their homes across the Lake Macquarie, Central Coast, and Hunter regions.
Role Overview: As a Support Worker and Cleaner, you will assist participants with daily living activities, personal goals, and community access. Your tasks will include:
Supporting with general housework, personal hygiene, meal preparation, and other daily living tasks
Assisting participants in accessing community events, services, and social outings, including transport
Maintaining accurate records, including progress notes and incident reports
Encouraging and motivating participants to achieve their personal goals
Providing social, emotional, and self-care support as needed
Requirements:
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent (preferred for the support worker role)
Valid driver’s license
Reliable, fully insured vehicle
Current WWCC (Working With Children Check)
Police check
NDIS Worker Screening clearance
Current First Aid and CPR certification
No prior experience necessary – we welcome applicants with the right attitude and a willingness to learn
