We're thrilled to welcome our newest Occupational Therapist Georgia to our team 🎉

Her arrival marks an exciting new chapter for our growing practice. Georgia brings calming energy, innovation, new perspectives and a shared passion for helping children thrive.

With an expanding Occupational Therapy Team, we now have increasing capacity to support paediatric clients with emotional regulation, independence, fine motor and gross motor development and everyday functional skills. This growth means more opportunities to tailor therapy, collaborate creativity and deliver meaningful outcomes for the children and families we work alongside.

We're proud to continue growing a team that is passionate, positive and deeply committed to nurturing potential. 🌱

Why does the Vestibular System Matter In Childhood Development 🌪️?

Did you know the vestibular system is often called the “hidden sense”? It’s tucked deep inside the inner ear and is responsible for helping children understand movement, balance and where their body is in space.

For many little learners, a strong vestibular system is the foundation for: ✨Sitting Still and Focusing ✨Coordinating Movements such as running, hopping and climbing ✨Feeling Safe and Confident with movement ✨Regulating Emotions and Energy Levels ✨Developing Motor Coordination skills

How can Occupational Therapy help?
Occupational Therapist use targeted activities like swinging, scooter boards, obstacle courses, animal walks and gentle graded movement play to help strengthen the vestibular process in a safe and supportive way. The goal is always better participation, confidence and independence in daily life. We use professional, evidence based knowledge to work towards your child’s individual goals.

Try this at home:
