It is an existing role to take over, consisting of a mix of outpatient clinic work, nutrition education program facilitation, and aged care facility consulting. WE ARE HIRING!!

We are looking for a dedicated Accredited Practicing Dietitian to join our team. It is an employee role, to initially commence at 3 days per fortnight. We are ideally looking for someone who will be willing to increase those hours once the work becomes available.

The majority of the work is located on the Central Coast, however applicants must be willing to travel to multiple consulting locations. Some work may also be located in Newcastle and The Hunter in future.

One of our Dietitians Dr Jessica Ferguson is also a nutrition researcher at the University of Newcastle and their team are running a clinical study to investigate what people eat when they consume a plant-based diet. They also want to explore the health concerns and associated risk of chronic disease.

Almonds are a nut that are rich in healthy fats, fibre and plant protein. Almonds are a great source of Vitamin E which is a key antioxidant in the body. It's also a good source of calcium and B-group vitamins too.

FUN FOOD FACT: 'B' is for BEETROOT!
This beautifully vibrant vegetable is one of the best sources of dietary nitrates which play a key role in helping to relax blood vessels and lower blood pressure! Beetroots are a great source of folate and phytonutrients, which give them antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
Try adding raw beetroot to homemade dips for a vibrant purple colour, grated raw beetroot to wraps or sandwiches or even roast them up with some extra virgin olive oil!

Feast for Health is a large dynamic team of passionate Accredited Practising Dietitians who are based in GP practices across Newcastle, Lake Macquarie and the Central Coast regions of NSW. We don't believe in 'diets'. Food is a wonderful part of life and should be enjoyed. We believe that eating for health should not be restrictive. Through dietary education about how different foods affect our bodies, our patients can usually FEAST on plenty of food and enhance their health while doing so. WHY WE ARE DIFFERENT: Feast for Health Dietitians are Accredited with the Dietitians Association of Australia. Accredited Practising Dietitians are University qualified Health Professionals. We are trained to possess the expertise to provide the highest quality nutrition assessment, nutrition education and dietary advice for our patients. Feast for Health Dietitians have a vast range of knowledge and experience in the field of nutrition and dietetics. We can provide you with nutrition education and individual dietary advice on the following topics: -Weight Concerns -Diabetes (type 1, type 2 and pre-diabetes) -High Cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) -High Blood Pressure (hypertenstion) -Coeliac Disease or Gluten Intolerance -Gut or bowel issues (eg.
