Our team has had the opportunity to build teamwork, communication skills, and confidence in a real workplace environment, while working towards greater independence and future employment opportunities. Each day brings new skills, new challenges, and plenty of growth along the way.

🎬 Cooking with the Crew – Episode 5

Viral TikTok Dumplings 🥟

Juicy, flavour-packed dumplings with a savoury filling, perfect for steaming or pan-frying until golden.

📝 Ingredients:
• 500g beef mince
• 3 green onion (finely chopped)
• 1 medium carrot (grated)
• 3 cloves garlic (minced)
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1/2 tbsp Kikkoman mirin
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 1/2 tsp white pepper

• 25 sheets dumpling wrappers
• 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)
• 1/2 cup water (for steaming)

🌿 To Serve:
• Soy sauce
• Chilli oil
• Chopped green onion

Over the past three weeks, our participants have gained hands-on experience in a childcare setting learning new skills, building confidence, and taking real steps toward independence and employment.

Opportunities like this are so important, and we’re incredibly grateful to partner with a team that is so supportive, inclusive, and willing to make a difference.

Watching our participants grow, thrive, and step into the workplace has been truly amazing 🙌
