Our Langwarrin Community Aged Care community gathered together to honour and pay our respects to all who have served our country — past and present.
We were privileged to hold a meaningful service led by John Barry, Vice President of the Frankston RSL . We extend our heartfelt thanks to John for joining us and sharing this special moment of remembrance.

Happy 5th Birthday Langwarrin Community Aged Care .
What an incredible day of colour, fun, and celebration! Our “Dress to Impress” theme filled the home with bright outfits, big smiles, and plenty of joy.
We enjoyed live music, raffle draws, and heartfelt speeches — including special recognition for our amazing residents who’ve been with us since the very beginning, and our dedicated volunteers who give so much of their time and care.
The afternoon was a feast for all, with a delicious spread from the Catering Industries team, featuring a three-tiered birthday cake, sausage sizzle, and even fairy floss!
To top it all off, our much-loved Fashion on the Fields parade saw residents strut their stuff in style.
A huge thank you to all our residents, families, and staff who helped make our 5th birthday celebration such a memorable success.

Spring has definitely sprung at Langwarrin Community Aged Care!
Our beautiful rose gardens are in full bloom which is the perfect backdrop for the Spring Racing Carnival season.
Today, our creative residents made stunning fascinator headpieces using tulle, flowers and other decorative touches. The tables are also looking race-day ready with centrepieces featuring freshly cut roses straight from our gardens.
We’re all set for Melbourne Cup Day tomorrow — it’s sure to be a day full of colour, fun and community spirit.

Today marks a major milestone in aged care across Australia. The new Aged Care Act 2024 and the Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards officially come into effect from 1 November 2025.

These reforms place older Australians firmly at the centre of care — bringing a stronger focus on dignity, choice, safety, and quality in every part of aged care.
