Well this was an interesting impromptu treatment. Our tiny friend Lickety Split is a bit nervous about people still, but while I was treating his paddock mate he hung around about 5m away, soaking in the therapy vibes. When I was finished I looked over and he was staring at us a bit curiously, so I asked if he wanted a treatment too. So from 5m I put my hands up like I was doing a certain move and imagined I was touching him, he immediately froze. So I did the other side and waited a moment and back to the first side and then again the other side…I stopped for a moment and he started chewing, very relaxed! A super cool example of how little it takes and that the intention to help is a massive part of therapy.

READ ON FOR GREAT OFFER!

Finally… I feel properly settled into my new home state and should probably be introducing myself and meeting all y’all wonderful horse people and darling ponies.

So, to get myself out in the world, pat ponies for a living and put all my training to work, I’ve come up with a sort of offer.

This should make it slightly more attractive to bring in some strange woman off the internet (trust me, I’m a 35 year old woman I swear!) who says she might be able to help you and your horse move a little easier :) I do have the fancy papers and there’s horse owners in the world who have nice things to say about me!

THE OFFER IS... During the week of November 7-11, I will be available for demo treatments at a decent price ($25 for horses, free for their humans). I’m just charging enough to get me around and buy extra treats for my own sweet pea of a horse but I’m just so keen to get out there that this is enough for now.

The treatment will be a 10-15 minute demo of what I, using the Emmett Technique can offer and gives your horse some relaxing therapy time. I can’t charge for people treatments yet because I don’t have the last fancy paper, but I’ve done most of the courses and would love more guinea pigs (my poor boyfriend is so over it!), so if you’re curious why your horse loves the work so much, then I’d be super pleased to do a demo on yourself or other human on the property.

The best ways to contact me are by sending me a message via Facebook or even checking out this link and putting in a preferred demo date and time. I’m good at responding to messages but less so by phone because usually I’m out driving, riding or working so that’s why messenger or that link are easiest for me.
