HEALTH MARKERS IMPROVED.
Sharon joined Curves while working in a high-stress job and used the workout as a stress-release. But challenges arise and while a new job helped, life happened too.
Just before Christmas Sharon was diagnosed as pre-diabetic. She used our summer challenge to make some changes and has already lost 3kg and is losing cms each month.

Things are improving, and with the regular accountability check-ins with her Curves Coaches Sharon is on track to turn the diagnosis around!

A Curves Coach & Myzone working together.
Our Myzone members, like Jane, find their workouts even more engaging and motivating, with Myzone delivering real-time heart rate feedback. Plus our Coaches motivate and encourage you during your 30-minutes to maintain your zones!

Jane has also found her Myzone works for her outside the gym, as lots of our members have, while bike riding, running or bush walking.

EDIT: Jane is also closing-in on her 10kg weight loss goal! Watch this space!

1.6kg loss in 7 days 🥳
That was week one. Week two and the pressure is real! Our Nutrition Coach, Eve decided to stick to her winning formula earlier this week (if it worked, why change it? 😉). You can see those staple meals in the earlier posts!
However, the real test came with a day out at the Hobart International Tennis yesterday! 🎾 A full day enjoying the atmosphere, watching the action & joining her grandchildren, is where life happens.

Brekky: The usual power-up (Oats/banana/kefir) and a travel coffee.

Then the enjoyment of food & wine... in moderation:
Prosecco: on arrival,
Pad Thai: while close to the action Bubbles & a custard brioche donut:
Another coffee before the drive back.
A healthy stir-fry of Chick peas & mushrooms once home.

Today? Right back on plan.
So far: Oats/Banana/kefir
Latte on walk
Avocado on toast for lunch.

You don't have to deprive yourself to lose weight.
