Cinergee

Cinergee Join us on a journey to unwind, restore balance, and nurture your mind, body, and spirit. In our fast, stressful lives we lose touch with who we are.

Our holistic approach spans from gut health to radiant skin, guaranteeing a comprehensive wellness journey. We run pillar to post working two or three jobs (in some cases), we manage the household and everything that comes with a family, we study to better ourselves, give a helping hand with community organisations, friends and family......we give so much of our essence that we just have NO TIME for ourselves. This leaves us depleted, lacking vitality, depressed and overwhelmed. To stay this way for too long our health becomes challenged and we start to look for a change. Cinergee is that change.....everything we do is to help you reconnect with your inner Goddess and find inner peace

The hardest walk is often the one you take alone — but it can also be the one that makes you strongest.

Without experience, I wouldn’t recommend heading into our beautiful wilderness solo. That said, it’s something I deeply value. On days when I feel a little vulnerable, I choose tracks where I know others will be around. At other times, when I feel mentally, emotionally, and physically strong, I seek out places where solitude is almost guaranteed.

Being in nature grounds me. Connecting with the earth and the quiet energy of the natural world lifts my spirits and resets my system. I return with a clearer mind, a steadier body, and a renewed perspective — ready to step back into daily life with greater balance.

How does being in nature make you feel?

Lymphatic Friday!
Newly mapped lymphatic vessels in the brain change how we view neurological disease

Only in the last decade have researchers confirmed the existence of meningeal lymphatic vessels — true lymphatic channels lining the brain and spinal cord.

These vessels:

**Drain immune cells and waste from the central nervous system

**Connect directly to cervical lymph nodes

**Act as an immune “communication highway” between the brain and body

This discovery is reshaping how researchers understand conditions such as:

**Alzheimer’s disease

**Parkinson’s disease

**Multiple sclerosis

**Chronic migraines

The implication is clear: impaired lymphatic drainage may precede neurological pathology, rather than simply being a downstream consequence.

Why Our Skin Consultations Have Changed

At Cinergee, we’ve evolved the way we approach skin health.

Over time, it became clear that skin concerns—whether inflammatory, sensitive, or age-related—cannot be fully understood by looking at the skin alone. Acne, rosacea, eczema, pigmentation, premature ageing, dryness, and reactivity are often influenced by what is happening inside the body, not just on the surface.

That’s why all skin consultations now include Frequency Analysis Scans.

This allows us to look at the big picture—including nervous system regulation, inflammatory load, lymphatic flow, digestion, and hormonal influences—alongside advanced skin imaging.

When we understand why the skin is behaving the way it is, we can create programs that support long-term skin health, not just short-term symptom relief.

This change means:
• More personalised skin and health programs
• Smarter, targeted treatments
• Better long-term outcomes
• Skin support that evolves with your body

Healthy skin isn’t about chasing perfection.
It’s about restoring balance, resilience, and function in all areas of the body—at every stage of life.

If your skin has felt stuck, reactive, or difficult to manage, this integrated approach may be exactly what it’s been asking for.

Wellness Wednesday Series

This has changed how I now work with clients.....my findings after many Frequency Analysis Scans

What Frequency Analysis Is Revealing in Clinic
The Nervous System Is Almost Always Involved

One of the most consistent findings across Frequency Analysis scans is nervous system dysregulation.

Even when clients present with skin concerns, gut symptoms, hormonal issues, or fatigue, the scans repeatedly show a body that is:

Stuck in a sympathetic (fight-or-flight) state

Struggling to switch into rest, repair, and recovery

Operating in a “wired but tired” pattern

This doesn’t always feel like stress to the client — but the body tells a different story.

Why this matters:
When the nervous system is overstimulated, healing slows. Digestion, detoxification, immune regulation, and lymphatic flow are all compromised.

Regulating the nervous system is not optional — it is foundational to every wellness program and something I have now integrated even more into my work.

Mobility Tuesday

As I age, I am increasingly aware of the importance of mobility.
Mobility is not flexibility.
Mobility is not strength.
Mobility is not stretching.
It is controlled, purposeful movement that keeps the body resilient as we age.

Mobility is the ability of a joint to move actively and with control through its full range of motion.
Flexibility is passive. Mobility is neurological, muscular, and joint-based.

You can be flexible and still unstable, restricted, or in pain.

As we age, we lose mobility not just from inactivity—but from:

🦵 Nervous system guarding

🦵 Joint compression

🦵 Loss of proprioception (body awareness)

🦵 Chronic low-grade inflammation

Mobility is what allows strength, balance, and coordination to express safely. Without it, the body compensates—often silently—until pain appears.

Mobility = longevity of movement.

Monday's is all about Skin!!!

The main hormones of concern......

Estrogen
What it supports:
• collagen + elastin
• hyaluronic acid (hydration + plumpness)
• barrier lipids
• microcirculation
When it drops:
• thinning skin
• dryness + TEWL rise
• reduced firmness
• more visible lines
• increased sensitivity

Progesterone
What it influences:
• sebum regulation
• fluid retention
• inflammation signalling
When it fluctuates:
• puffiness
• congestion
• “cycle acne” patterns
• reactive skin days

Androgens (testosterone/DHT)
What they influence:
• oil gland activity
• keratin build-up in follicles
When higher (relative to estrogen):
• oily skin
• deeper acne
• jawline + chin breakouts
• enlarged pores

Cortisol (stress hormone)
What it does:
• slows barrier repair
• increases inflammation
• increases TEWL
• disrupts microbiome
When chronically high:
• persistent redness
• flare-ups
• acne + sensitivity together
• skin that “won’t settle”

As you can see, skin health is way deeper than just what we put on the skin. If you have a skin concern you need someone who understands biochemistry, physiology as well as the anatomy of the skin.

"ONE DAY
everything will fall into place and you will finally understand, that after all the hardships and battles you went through, all of it was leading you to what you were searching for."
Roger Lee

Photos taken of my recent trips into the wilderness - overnight in the Labyrinth - Pine Valley - Lake St Clair, and two nights attempting to climb Mt Manfred navigating rock walls at every level and thick scrub and scoparia - a plant that just wants to rip you to threads. I didn't make it up to the top, as the weather caved in on the last shelf, but its giving me some huge insights as to where I need to go to avoid most of the scrub and rock walls for the next time 😃

Lymphatic Friday!
Some exciting and emerging findings are now being clinically proven what, we, in the industry have known for a very long time:-

The lymphatic and glymphatic systems are electrically and neurologically regulated systems — not just passive drainage networks.

A key emerging insight from recent research is that lymphatic flow is strongly influenced by the autonomic nervous system, particularly the balance between sympathetic (“fight or flight”) and parasympathetic (“rest and repair”) tone.

Here is what is not widely understood outside clinical and research circles:

1. The glymphatic system only works properly in deep parasympathetic states

The brain’s glymphatic system — responsible for clearing metabolic waste, inflammatory proteins, and neurotoxins — is up to 10 times more active during deep, slow-wave sleep than during waking states.

Importantly, this clearance is suppressed when cortisol and noradrenaline are elevated, meaning:

** Chronic stress
** Poor sleep quality
** Late-night screen exposure
** Over-activation of the sympathetic nervous system

all directly impair the brain’s detoxification capacity, regardless of hydration or diet.

This links lymphatic congestion not only to swelling or immune issues, but also to:

** Brain fog
** Mood dysregulation
** Neuroinflammation
** Accellerated cognitive ageing

Cinergee has many ways to help clear the lymphatic & glymphatic systems - when you are in next - ask me how?

Wellness Wednesday!

Finally some great news out of USA 👏👏

The 2025–2030 Dietary Guidelines mark the biggest shift in nutrition policy in decades. After forty years of advice that coincided with rising obesity, diabetes, fatty liver disease, and diet-driven chronic illness, a basic reality is: what we eat matters more than how many calories we count.
For generations, policy promoted low-fat, high-carbohydrate diets, subsidized highly-processed food, and treated chronic disease as inevitable rather than preventable. The result is more than 70 percent of adults are overweight or obese, one in three adolescents has prediabetic, and 90 percent of healthcare spending goes toward chronic disease management rather than prevention.
These Guidelines represent a genuine course correction. They’re not perfect.

Where they Fall Short
First, limiting saturated fat to less than 10 percent of calories remains poorly supported by causal evidence and further research is needed. The health effects of saturated fat depend on the food source, metabolic context, and what replaces it.
Replacing saturated fat with refined carbohydrates worsens outcomes; replacing it with whole foods does not. Guidelines should reflect this distinction.
Second, whole grains are still broadly recommended without sufficient attention to glycemic variability. For many with insulin resistance or autoimmune disease, whole grains can worsen metabolic health. Vegetables, legumes, and tubers often perform better—and personalization matters.
Third, dairy is presented as beneficial without acknowledging lactose intolerance, casein sensitivity, or immune reactivity, which affect many people.
Finally, the Guidelines still remain rooted in population averages. We now have the tools—biomarkers, continuous glucose monitoring, genetics, and wearable data—to personalize nutrition at scale.

I learnt to throw out the traditional food pyramid in the 1980s when I studied Clinical Nutrition. It was originally designed by the Agricultural industry to fatten calves and "modified" for humans. Well fatten us it did! Lets hope Australia follows suit and maybe we may even get that tax on sugar!

Mobility Tuesdays

What “moving better” actually means

Moving better means:
• more range where you need it
• more control inside that range
• more strength at end range
• more ease and confidence

Not forcing your body open.
Not yanking on tight spots.
Not “holding posture.”
Just building trust and capacity in movement.

How this looks in real life

Mobility is the difference between:
• Turning your head easily vs moving your whole body
• Reaching overhead without a shoulder pinch
• Getting out of the car without groaning
• Sleeping without hip/low-back stiffness
• Walking up steps without knee pull
• Feeling steady on uneven ground
These are the “quiet wins” of aging well.
