Cinergee

Cinergee Join us on a journey to unwind, restore balance, and nurture your mind, body, and spirit. In our fast, stressful lives we lose touch with who we are.

Our holistic approach spans from gut health to radiant skin, guaranteeing a comprehensive wellness journey. We run pillar to post working two or three jobs (in some cases), we manage the household and everything that comes with a family, we study to better ourselves, give a helping hand with community organisations, friends and family......we give so much of our essence that we just have NO TIME for ourselves. This leaves us depleted, lacking vitality, depressed and overwhelmed. To stay this way for too long our health becomes challenged and we start to look for a change. Cinergee is that change.....everything we do is to help you reconnect with your inner Goddess and find inner peace

I no longer force things.
Nature doesn’t rush, insist, or push — it simply moves when the time is right. Watching the swans drift quietly across the lagoon at Bay of Fires is a reminder that what is meant to move will move, and what needs stillness will remain.

What flows, flows. What crashes, crashes.
There is a deep peace in trusting that rhythm.

Lymphatic Friday!

From a clinical and functional perspective, the lymphatic and glymphatic systems should be viewed as regulated neuro-immune clearance systems, not passive drainage pathways. This distinction materially changes how assessment, intervention, and expectations are framed.

1. Nervous system state determines lymphatic efficiency

Lymphatic vessels possess intrinsic contractility (lymphangions) that is directly modulated by autonomic tone. In sympathetic dominance:

🤔 Lymphatic vessel contraction becomes irregular and inefficient

🤔 Interstitial fluid clearance slows

🤔 Immune cell trafficking becomes dysregulated

🤔 Inflammatory mediators accumulate rather than resolve

Clinically, this explains why clients may present with lymphatic congestion despite adequate hydration, movement, and “detox” protocols.

Clinical implication:
Down-regulating the nervous system is not adjunctive — it is prerequisite. All new lymphatic treatments will now start with a Frequency Analysis Assessment as treatments cannot be performed alone without any understanding of the "big picture".

Wellness Wednesday Insight into Frequency Analysis Scans

Chronic Low-Grade Inflammation Is the Norm, Not the Exception

Across many Frequency Analysis scans, low-grade inflammation appears as a background pattern rather than an acute issue.

This inflammation is often:

😮 Systemic

😮 Neurologically driven

😮 Linked to lymphatic congestion and poor recovery

😮 Clients may not feel “inflamed” — yet their tissues show signs of ongoing stress and delayed repair.

Why this matters:
Chronic inflammation:

😭 Ages tissues faster

😭 Impacts skin integrity

😭 Disrupts hormone signalling

😭 Increases pain and fatigue over time

Reducing inflammation requires multi-system support, not just anti-inflammatory foods or supplements.

Mobility Tuesday
Mobility Protects You From Injury (and Pain)

Most injuries don’t occur from weakness—they occur from restricted movement options.

When a joint lacks mobility:

😟 Another joint compensates

😟 Load shifts incorrectly

😟 Wear and tear accelerates

Over time this shows up as:

😭 Back pain

😭 Hip or knee issues

😭 Shoulder restriction

Recurrent “niggles”

Good mobility distributes force evenly across the body.
This is one of the most effective long-term strategies for pain prevention and fall risk reduction as we age.

Mondays are all about Skin!

Why Age Management Starts With Skin Function

Age management isn’t about chasing lines or reversing age.
It’s about how well your skin is functioning.

As we age, the skin’s ability to repair, regenerate, and protect itself slows. Barrier lipids reduce, inflammation becomes easier to trigger, and recovery takes longer. This is why skin can suddenly feel dry, reactive, dull, or “older” despite using good products.

True age management focuses first on:
• Skin barrier integrity
• Cellular repair and renewal
• Inflammation control
• Resilience, not aggression

When skin function is supported, the appearance naturally follows.

This is why we start early in the year resetting and rebuilding, not overstimulating. Healthy ageing skin begins with a strong foundation.

My ducks are absolutely not in a row.
I don’t even know where some of them are… and I’m fairly certain one of them is a pigeon.

And that’s okay.

Life isn’t linear. It’s messy, unpredictable, and constantly evolving. Growth rarely happens when everything is neat and orderly — it happens in uncertainty, challenge, and recalibration.

I don’t always get to where I plan to go. Weather changes. Obstacles appear. The bush becomes thick and impassable. And that’s okay too. The mountain is always there for another day, another time.

Not reaching the destination doesn’t mean the journey was wasted. Sometimes the lesson is knowing when to pause, adjust, or turn back with respect — for yourself and for the environment around you.

Progress doesn’t require perfection. It requires presence, adaptability, and the willingness to keep moving forward, even when the path changes.

Lymphatic Friday!

The lymphatic and glymphatic systems sit at the intersection of:

💧Immunity

💧Neurology

💧Inflammation

💧Detoxification

💧Ageing

Supporting them effectively requires nervous system regulation first, mechanical support second. I will unpack this in a little more detail over the coming weeks

Wellness Wednesday Insight into Frequency Analysis Scans

Digestion Is Often Down-Regulated — Not “Broken”

Many scans reveal digestive systems that are under-powered rather than dysfunctional.

Common findings include:

🥑 Reduced digestive energy

🥑 Sluggish enzymatic activity

🥑 Poor gut-brain signalling

This pattern often coexists with stress and sympathetic dominance.

Why this matters:
When digestion is down-regulated:

😕 Nutrient absorption drops

😕 Gut repair slows

😕 Food sensitivities increase

😕 Clients feel bloated, reactive, or fatigued despite “good” diets

Digestive support must address nervous system tone and metabolic energy, not just food elimination. Detox is not always the best way with a depleted system.

Mobility Tuesday

Mobility Is a Nervous System Skill

Mobility is not just mechanical—it is neuro-regulated.

When the nervous system perceives threat (stress, overload, fatigue, trauma):

😲 Muscles tighten

😲 Joints restrict

😲 Movement becomes guarded

This is why stretching and rolling alone often fails.

Effective mobility:

👍 Improves vagal tone

👍 Reduces sympathetic dominance

👍 Restores smooth, coordinated movement

To improve mobility long-term, the nervous system must feel safe first.
Slow, controlled, intentional movement changes the signal—not just the tissue.

Mobility is not about doing more—it’s about moving better.
Train your joints, calm your nervous system, and your body will keep showing up for you.

Mondays are all about Skin!!!

The corneotherapy angle

Hormonal skin isn’t “wrong” — it’s adapting.
So we don’t over-strip, force peel, or chase fast results. No injections, harsh chemicals, or going against biology....

We ask:
• What is the barrier doing?
• Is inflammation primary or secondary?
• What systems are involved (stress, gut, lymph)?
• What does this stage of life require right now?
~ What hormones are the most active?

Corneotherapy principle:
stabilise first → correct second → strengthen always.

What support looks like
Topical support
• lipid-correct moisturisers (ceramides + cholesterol + fatty acids)
• calmers (panthenol, beta-glucan, niacinamide in barrier-safe doses)
• pigment modulators if needed (gentle brighteners, not stripping acids)
• pH-respecting cleansing
Treatment support
• LED to regulate inflammation + speed repair
• Microcurrent for circulation + muscle tone + vitality
• Microneedling for collagen and texture only when barrier is ready
• Facial massage + Gua Sha to support lymph + nervous system tone
Lifestyle support
• omega fats + protein for collagen
• antioxidants for inflammation control
• stress/sleep regulation (huge in hormonal skin)

You may have noticed a shift in what I share here.

As a solo therapist, I no longer need to use this space to attract new clients in the traditional way — the beautiful imagery of what you can expect at Cinergee is a given. You will always experience exceptional skin health treatments, body therapies, spa experiences, and health consultations delivered with the attentiveness and somatic care you are used to.

At present, I am booked several months in advance, with many regular clients securing appointments 6–12 months ahead — so please keep this in mind when planning your visits.

What I have always loved is educating. Supporting people to understand their bodies, skin, nervous systems, and long-term wellbeing is at the heart of what I do.

As a clinical nutritionist, musculo-skeletal therapist, corneotherapist and advanced skin therapist, Master NLP practitioner and hypnotherapist — and soon-to-be oncology bodyworker — I don’t see people as just skin or just muscle tension. When you walk into my treatment room, I’m assessing the whole picture, working holistically to understand root causes rather than isolated symptoms.

What you’ll now see more of here are the areas I focus on most:
skin health, mobility, lymphatic support, nervous system regulation, mental wellbeing — and yes, my bushwalking reflections too.

So if you’re wondering where the glossy spa photos have gone…
this is simply more me.

Out with the fluff on social media.
In with real, holistic therapy.

(You still get the fluff - all those little extras - in the treatment room.)
