Australia’s 2024 Sexual Health Check-Up results are in. National data released by the Kirby Institute has revealed some concerning results:

⚠️ STIs like gonorrhoea and syphilis are on the rise, more than doubling over the past 10 years.
📌 Chlamydia is still the most common STI — with highest rates among 20–29 year olds
🧪 Only 16% of Aussies aged 16–49 have ever had an STI test.
✅ HIV rates are down 27% over the past decade

STIs are common, often symptom-free, and easily treated — but only if you get tested.
