Ever notice how the quietest leaders often make the loudest impact? 🤔

That's because they're too busy listening to dominate every conversation. And that's where the real leadership gold is hidden. ✨

When you actually listen, like REALLY listen, your team stops holding back. Innovation starts flowing. Problems get solved faster. 🎯

The leaders who pause, who ask "tell me more," who create genuine space? They're the ones people would follow anywhere. Not because they demand it, but because they've earned it. 💪

Listening is a superpower. 🧡

Something our team talk about a lot is how helpful it is to bounce ideas off each other. 💡

The work we do is complex. Every participant is different and sometimes the best way forward comes from talking things through together.

It’s pretty common here to hear
“Can I get your thoughts on this?”

Different perspectives.
Different experiences.
Better ideas.

That’s the kind of collaboration we value at Luminary.

Meet Eva 💛

Lego builder, animal lover, proudly a little bit nerdy… and someone who believes deeply in the power of feeling understood and supported.

Eva’s journey into occupational therapy has been shaped by her own lived experience, giving her a genuine understanding of what it means to work towards meaningful goals. That perspective shows up in the way she connects with people, always leading with empathy, curiosity and care.

She recently graduated from Charles Sturt University and is passionate about working alongside clients to set goals that truly matter, not just what looks good on paper, but what feels important in real life.

Eva focuses on helping people discover the tools, strategies and confidence they need to move forward in a way that feels empowering and sustainable.

Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with family and pets, building Lego creations or leaning into all things nerdy.

We’re so glad you’re here ✨

A workplace should add to your life, not take from it. 💛

At Luminary, we are incredibly proud of the impact our team creates for participants and families every day.

But something we value just as much is the environment we create for each other.

✨A place where people feel supported.
✨A place where learning and growth are encouraged.
✨A place where kindness leads the way.

We asked our team to share how Luminary has impacted their lives personally and their responses reminded us why culture matters so much.

Because behind every participant outcome is a team of people who care deeply about what they do and about each other.

Meet Bec 💛

Mum, Star Wars fan, crocheter, paddleboarder… and someone who truly understands the impact of the right support at the right time.

Bec’s passion for this work is personal. After experiencing the power of early intervention with her own son, she felt called to give that same sense of hope, empowerment and care back to other families. That lived experience is something she carries into every interaction.

She completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy in 2025 and brings with her a unique mix of warmth, life experience and professional skill, shaped by her background in hospitality and real estate administration.

Bec leads with compassion, connection and a strong belief in strengths based care. She’s the kind of person who makes people feel safe, seen and supported from the moment they meet her.

Outside of work you’ll find her by the water, at Pilates, hunting down great food or spending quality time with her family.

We’re so lucky to have you, Bec ✨

This Neurodiversity Week, we’re taking a moment to reflect on what it really means to be person-centred. 💛

At Luminary, that doesn’t just apply to the participants and families we support. It extends to our team as well.

Neurodiversity Week is about recognising that there isn’t just one way to think, learn or experience the world. It’s about moving away from a one size fits all approach, and creating spaces where people are understood, supported and valued as they are.

We know that people think, learn and work in different ways, and that includes the clinicians we work alongside. Fostering an environment where our team are accepted and feel supported to work in the ways that that work best for them isn’t a bonus, it’s essential.

When our clinicians feel safe to be themselves, they bring more presence, creativity and care into their work. And that has a direct impact on the quality of support our participants receive.

For us, supporting neurodiversity isn’t something we switch on for a week. It’s part of how we build relationships, shape our practice and show up consistently for our community.

It’s not about getting it perfect. It’s about listening, adapting and valuing people for who they are.

And that’s where meaningful outcomes begin. ✨

Feedback like this never gets old 💛

We are incredibly proud of the practitioners on our team and the impact they have every day. Building trust, supporting complex journeys, and showing up with skill and kindness is what it’s all about.

Moments like this remind us why the work matters ✨
