Deep gratitude 🙏 for the community we have together here, thank you for all the likes, messages and comments. I’m moving into some contemplation and nourishment time, some family time. A quick break for reflections on 2025 and reaching forward with planning of 2026 to release all the workshops and groups I’ve been birthing within for 6 months 🌺 🌻 🌸 lots of composting has lead to an amazing garden within me, I’m looking forward to sharing it all with you in 2026.

I’m sensing it’s time to begin processing my year… I’ve pinned three pictures to my wall. I’m wandering by them. Sensing into what they offer me. How do they invite knowings about my year?
Do you have end of year rituals?

A little bit of mother daughter time in her garden this morning, we had conversations with plants, wondering aloud at the shapes, textures and colours of the foliage. A beautiful sunny day caused almost instant colour change in the cyanotype process, so fun. This is workshop development for 2026 so follow and like to see more content and for release dates which are coming soon.

I went into my garden this morning, taking a moment to pause and feel the weight of the attack on Australia’s Jewish community. Feeling things like sadness prickling under my eyelids, anger in my throat and chest, horror/ repulsion in my gut… disbelief floating everywhere within me… watering and tending my plants I began to feel nourished and tended to. I began to experience a softening, a thread of reconnection to a sense of hope and confidence, a deep knowing that a terrible act has occurred and that I stand unequivocally against hatefulness and violence. Watching water from my hose glisten on new bloom allowed a sense of hopefulness that Australia will rise up against hate and this atrocity, that we will stand together and grieve and also become part of the change💜
How are you doing? Please seek support if this atrocity is landing heavily with you and you feel unable to cope. Support is available.

Dyeing results from ironbark, “stinking Roger” avocados, and mistletoe. Did you notice the butterfly stencilled on with soy milk and dyed with avocado? Very satisfying to encounter nature this way. Also been setting up my outdoor dyeing studio which I’m excited to share with you soon.

Tuesday is expressive arts group day. Full tables. Messy hands. Nourished hearts. Room to breathe, explore, process, wonder, reflect, connect… one more session then a short Christmas break. Thanks to who hosts our workshop space.

Forage: taking 5 hours to drive a 3.5 hour trip because you keep stopping to collect dyeing, pressing, sketching materials! So worth it tho. When you see a field of rambling roses you just have to stop and pick some.
Special thanks to @

Hello storm. Hello seeker of beauty. Hello fragility. Hello stillness. Hello nonconformity. Hello movement. Hello grief. Hello confidence. Hello introvert. Hello rigidity. Hello colourfulness. Hello strength. Hello fear. Hello complexity. You are all welcome here.
Every age, ache, deepest need and our survival strategies is within us.
All the past present and future versions of ourselves are within too, being human can sometimes feel overwhelming and complex. As a therapist my role is to meet you where you are at. We collaborate with the art materials to invite curiosity, exploration, self awareness, and integration of our parts. Bookings for individual therapeutic sessions are open. Yes, I do Telehealth.

Colour from the kitchen: watching pink dye emerge from avocado pits is always magical. This is the pink from the first extraction (one x1 hour immersion in the dye) on some Australian wool. Stay tuned to see what colour we see after 2 dips. Stay tuned!

Morning rituals can provide structure & rhythms that soothe the nervous system.
One of my morning routines is a slow coffee. For me coffee is best savoured, exploring the temperature, flavours, texture, routine of making it. I like to sip it over a lobg period of time: in bed with my journal or a book, in my studio with art, outdoors with a view and the song of birds, in a local coffee shop people watching…
How do you take your coffee?

Art therapy because sometimes there are no words

We meet you where you are at. We provide safe spaces and art materials. We collaborate with you and encourage creative expressions that explore feelings, thoughts and experiences that may be difficult to verbalise. An art therapy process may be something as simple as a squiggle drawn onto paper or a thumbprint pressed into clay. We help people empower themselves to health and wellbeing through the creative arts.
