🦴💪What is bone loading and why does it matter?

Bone loading exercises are movements that place controlled stress on your bones to help them stay strong. Just as muscles need regular exercise to maintain strength, bones respond to targeted weight-bearing and resistance exercises by maintaining density and resilience. This is especially important for people with low bone density (such as Osteopenia or Osteoporosis), as well as those using prescribed weight-loss medications, where changes in body composition may increase the risk of bone density loss. Regular bone loading exercise can help reduce fracture risk, improve balance and support confident movement in everyday life.

This program focuses on targeted strength and weight-bearing exercises, tailored to each individual and delivered in a safe, small group environment. Sessions are clinically guided by our qualified Exercise Physiologist, Loxlee.

Program details:
• Start date: 5th February 2026
• Duration: 10 weeks
• Cost: $250 or 5 × Medicare CDM sessions
• Time: Thursdays, 8:30–9:15 am
• Location: Spectrum Gym, Lawnton

There are only 4 places remaining for this intake.
