Sunday Salty Stretch

“You Are The Salt Of The Earth & The Light Of The World” 🕊️

From Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5:13-16) this represents calling his followers to positively influence the world.

‘Salt Of The Earth’ or to be ‘Salty’ refers to acting as a positive influence, and signifies bringing out the "flavor" of God's goodness.
As well as preserving integrity and adding value to society.
‘Light of the World’ or to be lit 🔥 represents shining God's love and truth, acting as a guide, and not hiding one's faith. It implies illuminating the world and helping others find their way.
Together, these terms call individuals to be active, visible participants in their communities, living out their faith to bring glory to God.

This Sunday, the gorgeous Lindsay Crockett joins me to minister the word while we stretch to music created for worship. This class is suitable for Christians & non Christians alike and creates a space to be held in Love & Prayer.

‘Salty Stretch’ is a class that incorporate a beautiful release for tight muscles, stress, tension and is deeply relaxing and restorative.

Proceeds from this class are given to Streets Presence to support those living on the streets.
I invite you to come along with the intention of being ‘salty & lit’ 🔥 An opportunity for us to give to those less fortunate, therefore bringing out the flavour of Gods Goodness 🕊️

Stretching helps reduce the risk of injury, alleviates muscle stiffness and soreness, and corrects poor posture. Stretching also increases blood flow to muscles, aids in recovery, and promotes mental relaxation and stress reduction.

Don’t be fooled! Just because this class is done on a chair, does not mean it’s easy!
The beauty with Chair Mindful Body Movement, is that you have plenary of options to make it as easy or challenging as you wish.
We build upper and lower body strength as well as core, and pelvic floor. We work to build balance, and finish off with long held stretches, breathwork and meditation to release tension leaving you feel deeply relaxed and restored.

Low impact, high intensity workout that burns 🔥

This 45 minute class, is a combination of ballet inspired exercises to tone the entire body.

Using high repetitions, small movements (pulses), and isometric holds, it creates significant muscle fatigue to build strength, stamina and flexibility.

Starting with a warm-up, followed by upper body work, intense leg/glute work at the barre, and core work.

Exercises involve small, controlled, "pulsing" motions rather than large ranges of motion to target deep muscle layers and fatigue is achieved through high reps and holding contractions.

Equipment used includes light dumbbells (1–3 lbs), resistance bands, small pilates balls and rings.

Improves balance, posture, flexibility, and increases muscular endurance.
