We celebrate the survival of Aboriginal people and their culture following the impact of European invasion and support their right to determine their own future. The traditional Aboriginal groups of inner Sydney Ashfield, Leichhardt and Marrickville region are the Gadigal and Wangal peoples of the Eora nation. We pay our respects to them and their cultures and to Elders both past, present and emerging.

Art therapy supports emotional regulation, cognitive functioning, motor skill development and self-awareness, addressing a wide range of therapeutic goals. Opening on Tuesday, the 22nd of October, 2pm is our annual Mental Health Month Exhibition at Inside Out Gallery.

Through art, we speak is a group exhibition showcasing Consumer Peer workers from NSW Health and Cornucopia Arts Group from Gladesville. The exhibition explores the lived experience through creative expression.

Inside Out gallery is located within Macquarie Hospital in the Northern Sydney Education and conference centre Wicks Rd, North Ryde.
