Last week we farewelled two of our wonderful therapists, Rosie and Nat, who have been part of the Child Sense journey for many years ๐๐ฑ
When I first set up Child Sense, it was not only to support children, teens and families, but also to create a place where therapists could truly grow. A service grounded in personal growth as much as professional development and quality service delivery. A place where employees, families and young people feel safe, connected and valued.
As Rosie and Nat prepared to leave our service, it was incredibly special to hear reflections from the team about the impact they have had on othersโ therapy journeys, and equally meaningful to hear Rosie and Nat reflect on how they themselves have grown as therapists during their time with us. They will be deeply missed by our team and by many of the families and participants they have supported. It has been a privilege to walk alongside them as a partner in their therapy journeys.
As they move out of private practice into different occupational therapy fields within the Department of Education and the university sector, we know they will be strong leaders, confident OTs and passionate advocates who continue to innovate within our profession. While their roles may change, our paths will cross again through professional development, collaboration and social connection.
Nat and Rosie, you know we will miss your daily presence dearly, and you will always be part of the Child Sense family ๐ก๐
We wish you all the best
