Referral Update – August 2025

The Hobart Paediatric Group is currently accepting urgent and semi urgent medical referrals for children with paediatric medical conditions requiring review within the next 6 weeks.

Regrettably, we are unable to accept non-urgent referrals or referrals for neurodevelopmental conditions at this time, due to current capacity constraints. We understand this may be disappointing and sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this causes.

For referring doctors - If your referral is urgent and a review within 1 week is deemed necessary, in addition to sending through a written referral, please phone the Hobart Paediatric Group and one of our paediatricians will be happy to discuss this with you.

We will provide updates on any changes to this via our website and social media platforms. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
