Preparing for fourth trimester.

Over the past few weeks I have been busy preparing for fourth trimester [the 12 weeks postpartum] to ensure I am nutritionally promoting healing, supporting lactation, stabilising my hormones and restoring nutrient reserves.

Here’s my prep list ✨

Sweets snacks for that energy pick-me-up
•Buckwheat pancakes
•Spelt banana bread
•Protein crackle slice

Savoury snacks prioritising protein & satiety

2025 clinic update.

As the moments of the year begin to tick by, it’s time we start preparing to wind down for bubs arrival.

What does this mean for Fleur Nutrition?
Fleur Nutrition has and always will be not only my small business but also my outlet to let my passion and interests flow, therefore we aren’t going anywhere, if anything just less client facing and more passion building🤍

With this being said, I will be going on maternity leave commencing May to focus on all things family and our little one.

To ensure the continuity of care and to leave my clients fuelled with the confidence to succeed my consultation cut-off dates will be as follows.

•Initial Consultations will be phased out at the beginning of April.
•Return Consultations will be phased out at the end of April.
•I will be taking bookings for workshops throughout Feb, March & Early April.

2025 is going to be our best year yet 🕊️

Slow & savoury starts ✨

2025 is the year of slow & savoury starts.

Focusing on being present in the morning, fostering hormone health, stabilising blood sugars and most importantly fostering the growth of our little bub 🤍

WHITE CHOC MACADAMIA MUFFINS

Because who doesn’t need a fresh, warm muffin in their lives 🧁

All you need
2 + 2/3 cups wholemeal plain flour
1 cup coconut sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
Pinch of salt
1/4 cup ghee [melted]
1/4 cup olive oil
2/3 cup milk of choice
2/3 cup greek yoghurt
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla pasta
1 cup fresh or frozen raspberries
1/2 cup chopped macadamias
100g roughly chopped white chocolate of choice [ is my fav]

It’s simple
01. Preheat oven to 190 degrees celsius and line a muffin tin with either paper liners or greased with olive oil spray.
02. In a large bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and a pinch of salt.
03. In a seperate bowl, whisk together the melted ghee, oil, milk, yoghurt, eggs and vanilla.
04. Gently fold the wet ingredients through the dry until a smooth batter has been formed [be careful to not over-mix].
05. Gently fold through raspberries, macadamias and chopped white chocolate.
06. Utilising a spoon divide the batter equally over the 12 muffin liners. Bake for approx. 20 minutes, or until the muffins have risen and are golden on top.
07. Once cooked, leave to cool in the muffin tray for approx. 5-10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
