The nervous system truly is amazing.

These are the spinal nerves — the vital connections branching out from our spinal cord. In total, we have 31 pairs:
8 cervical, 12 thoracic, 5 lumbar, 5 sacral, and 1 coccygeal.
Each pair serves as a communication highway, carrying motor, sensory, and autonomic signals between the spinal cord and every part of the body. They coordinate movement, sensation, and even involuntary functions like heart rate and digestion.
It’s a breathtaking system — a living network of precision and power — reminding us that the human body is one of evolution’s greatest masterpieces.
