One thing I love about living in Tasmania is sourcing local ingredients.

I took a trip out to The Tasmanian Honey Company in Perth today, to stock up on beeswax and couldn’t resist their Bio active Manuka Honey.

It’s well known to be a superior wound healer both internally and externally. They test each batch harvested to ensure the right content of methylglyoxal (the good stuff!) is present.

There’s nothing these bees can do wrong!!

I use beeswax in the ointments to complement the healing action of the other natural ingredients and to create the perfect consistency of each product.
