Healthcare should feel safe, convenient, and supportive — and now it can for more women across Victoria 💜

Our Virtual Women’s Health Clinic brings trusted care to you with free, virtual appointments, cutting out long drives, wait times, and extra costs.

We’re proud to see Dr Mei Ly, one of our amazing GPs at the clinic, featured by the Victorian Department of Health for helping make this possible.

If you're looking for sexual and reproductive care that fits around your life, visit: https://www.each.com.au/services/virtual-womens-health-clinic

Dr Ly, a general practitioner (GP) at the virtual women’s health clinic, sees first-hand how virtual care can change women’s lives.

For many women, receiving health care might not be straightforward. The barriers are real: long wait times, high costs, difficulty finding a female GP, past negative experiences, and, in regional areas, the challenges of distance and transport. Add stigma and privacy concerns , and it can feel easier to stay silent than to seek help.

“I hope that speaking with us can help rebuild their trust and confidence in the health system. Services like this virtual clinic are vital for women’s health in Victoria because they break down barriers to access… It removes the need for travel, reduces waiting times, and empowers women to seek care earlier.”

At the heart of the virtual women’s health clinic is trust. Trust that women will be listened to. Trust that their care will be safe and confidential. Trust that no matter where they live, women can reach out and find support.

“I hope that women feel hopeful and supported when they connect with this service. I want every woman to feel heard and know that they have a safe place to turn to for help.”

Every woman deserves to feel heard and have access to the care she needs, wherever she lives.

Shereen came to Each looking for support, and stayed to help others find it too 🩷

In 2017, she reached out to Each’s Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) program for help during a difficult time. Met with kindness and compassion, she was supported to take steps towards recovery — and to feel hope again.

This later inspired her to join Each’s payroll team, where she got to know the organisation and the many people who bring it to life.

But her lived experience called her toward something more, and she had the support of her leaders to make it happen...

Today, Shereen is an AOD trainee, studying whilst walking alongside customers — offering the kind of support that once helped her see light at the end of the tunnel.

Her story shows how lived experience and professional growth come together at Each. To read the full article, visit: https://www.each.com.au/articles/shereens-story-from-seeking-help-to-helping-others-at-each

Who’s excited for the AFL Grand Final tomorrow? We sure are!

Footy has a way of bringing people together — but when betting odds pop up all over your screen, it can take the fun out of the game.

Sean, Each’s Community Engagement Officer for Gambler’s Help, sees firsthand how social betting can cause harm when it’s not kept in check.

Ahead of the clash between the Geelong Cats and Brisbane Lions, Sean has a quick tip to help you enjoy the day without distractions:

👉 Open the AFL app
👉 Go to Settings
👉 Tap ‘Hide betting odds’

Looking for other ways to take back control? Sean also recommends signing up for BetStop, a free national service that blocks betting ads in Australia.

The Gambling Helpline also provides free, confidential, 24/7 crisis support to those experiencing gambling-related problems: 1800 858 858
