Today at the We Care HUB, we had the pleasure of celebrating the incredible women in our community as part of our International Women’s Day celebrations. 🌸

Our female staff and participants came together for a beautiful High Tea filled with laughter, connection, and appreciation. It was a wonderful opportunity to pause, reflect, and recognise the strength, compassion, and resilience these women bring to our HUB every single day.

Thank you to all the amazing women who inspire us, support one another, and help create such a warm and empowering space at We Care. We are grateful for each of you. 💜

We’re looking for a compassionate, reliable and motivated Disability Support Worker to join our Cooranbong team! Must have availability to assist with some sleepovers over the coming 3 months (leave coverage)
🕒Shifts available:
AM shifts – 0700-1400hrs
PM shifts – 1230-2000hrs
PM short – 1630-2000hrs
Inactive Sleepovers 2200-1000
Weekdays and Weekends!
Experience with the following is highly desired:
Manual Handling including use of hoists
Mealtime Management plans
Medication Management
Dementia Care
Requirements:
✔️Reliable car & valid driver’s license
✔️Smartphone
✔️NDIS Worker Screening Check
✔️Passion for helping others reach their goals
✔️Reliable, punctual and organised
✔️Proactive, consistent and a strong team player

Picking fresh, crisp veggies from the garden turning them into a tasty lunch, sweet corn fritters, zucchini fritters, green beans with garlic and golden breadcrumbs and a tomato and onion salad with balsamic vinegar. For dinner a full of flavour chicken and sweet corn soup with a Freshly picked and arranged bunch of Flowers to Brighten up the end of the day 🍅🫛 💐
