Ego vs Soul — Which One Is Leading Your Day?”

There’s a quiet battle that happens inside all of us the pull between the ego and the soul.

The ego is the voice that says,
“Protect yourself.” “Prove yourself.” “You’re not ready yet.”
It runs on fear, comparison, and control.
It’s the part that keeps us striving, defending, and living in the past or future.

The soul, on the other hand, whispers,
“Be still.” “You are enough.” “All is unfolding in perfect time.”
It speaks through peace, trust, and presence.
It invites you to rest in love, not to earn it, but to remember it.

Neither is wrong. The ego is simply the part of us that forgot who we are.
But when we let the soul lead, life softens.
We start responding instead of reacting.
We begin creating instead of controlling.
We move from me to we, from fear to faith.

For 34 months, we’ve gathered hearts open, cacao in hand, and intentions unfolding.
In the centre of the room sits a small notepad, waiting quietly for anyone called to write. Messages of truth, courage, forgiveness, and love.

Recently, I gathered 22 of these handwritten notes each one a whisper through the cacao, a reflection of the healing that happens when we come together in presence.
