A lot you guys who follow me here on Facebook know my flood story. It's crazy to think that Charlie was only 2 weeks old then, and is now 4!! We have been through so much together.

Thank goodness for all the knowledge, understanding and dedication I have to healing both myself and my child, for neither of us would be thriving as we are now if it weren't for my strong determination and hard work.

I never give up 🤩

But I also found the ways that works for me. The paths that have helped me learn the skills for emotional and nervous system regulation.

For being less afraid of my internal world and therefore of my external world too.

Before I take a little break over Christmas I’m sharing an overview of what’s happening here at Glow with the Flow 🥰

I love the work that I do!!
It brings me so much fulfilment. Thank you to all my clients for putting their trust in me. I am so honoured 🥰🥰

As a life-long learner, I am always researching and learning more about my profession, because I love it so much!

This training was run by the incredible Janina Fisher, PhD, founder of Trauma-Informed Stabilization Treatment (TIST) and expert in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy for trauma treatment (a branch of Somatic therapy).

An in-depth knowledge and understanding trauma-informed psychotherapeutic practices is essential in ensuring the safety and efficacy of our approaches as therapists.

Many of my clients state that they are blown away of how the approach I use is so simple, effective end easy to integrate into daily life. It is designed for stabilisation and safety, and working with a deep understanding and lived experience of how the nervous system responds to trauma, I know what works and what doesn't.

I help my clients guide themselves back home, home in their body, mind and spirit 🩵

I’ve finally started writing in my blog again after a long break. In between posts specifically related to trauma therapy, I’ve started writing about single motherhood.

I’ve been a single mother since my child was 10-weeks old. He’s 4 in February. I’ve learnt and felt more than I could have imagined, and I’d like to share some of it with you.

There’s a lot for single mothers, or even partnered mothers who'll relate. I’ll be speaking about learning how to be alone and becoming self-reliant, working through anger, bitterness and resentment, acceptance, parenting & re-parenting, how somatic therapy, IFS & mindfulness meditation has helped me, and so much more..

This is for me as much as for you. I like to write and I don’t see enough single mothers sharing their journey. We are not alone. There are more of us than ever out there today. This collective experience should be shared, our courage celebrated and our strength acknowledged.

To all the single mothers, I feel you. You are amazing. You are enough 🥰🌸💗

Our story

I create a safe space for you to go within and find your truth.

I am a trained yoga and meditation teacher. My yoga classes focus on alignment, grounding, stability and mindfulness. The goal in yoga is to use the breath and the body to start to calm and quiet the mind. My classes are complete with asana, pranayama, meditation and relaxation.

I completed my 50hr Yin Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Training with Clare Lovelace at SoulTribe Yoga Studio in Batemans Bay. I completed my Level 1 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Bec Isaacs & John Ogilive at Byron Yoga Centre. I completed my training in Meditation teaching and Holistic Human Development with Susanne Jones at The Meditation Teacher Training College Campbelltown.
