UnitingCare Lithgow UnitingCare Lithgow was established in 1986 to provide host family respite care for children and young people who have a disability and their carers.

Since then the service has grown in line with community needs and now provides a wide range of day programs and overnight respite to school aged children and adults who have a disability, people who are frail aged and primary carers in Lithgow and Bathurst. Our organisation undertakes to provide quality services enhancing the lives of people in our local and regional communities. We aim to be a leader in providing high quality, efficient services with person centered planning to enable and enhance the lives of people who have a disability or who are frail aged and their carers. UnitingCare Lithgow/Bathurst is committed to equal rights of access to it’s programs regardless of race, disability, religion, cultural background, gender, martial status, age etc. Access to the programs will be conducted in accordance with the Disability Service Standards, the Home and Community Care Principles and guidelines set by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care, the Department of Health and Ageing, the Department of Family and Housing Community Services and Indigenous Affairs.

Nothing brings the Christmas spirit quite like the smell of fresh gingerbread! 🎄🍪
Earlier this December, our clients enjoyed a cosy afternoon baking, decorating, and sharing festive biscuits together 🎅✨

There were plenty of smiles, laughs, and sweet treats — a wonderful way to celebrate the season and create warm holiday memories ❤️🎁

🎄🎅✨ Our clients had an absolute BLAST at our Christmas party last Friday!

We kicked things off with a delicious Christmas lunch 🍗🥗 (yes… seconds may have happened 😋), followed by loud-and-proud Christmas carols 🎶🎤 — singing skills optional, festive spirit mandatory 😂

Then came the lollie guessing competition 🍬🍭🤔 — serious thinking faces, wild guesses, and plenty of sweet excitement!

And of course… the BIG Christmas photo frame 📸🎄✨ — because no party is complete without posing, pulling faces, and capturing those smiles 😁🎁

So much laughter, joy, and Christmas cheer — what a wonderful way to celebrate together ❤️🥳
