Services include professional nail trimming/filing/burring, debridement of corns and calluses, treatment of cracked heels, and management of skin conditions like tinea or plantar warts.

Key Components of a General Podiatry Appointment-
Nail Care: Cutting, filing, thinning, and shaping of toenails, including management of thickened or fungal nails.
Skin Treatment: Removal of hard skin (callus) and corns using professional sterile tools to relieve pain and discomfort.
Ingrown Toenail Management: Assessment, cleaning, and sometimes minor surgery for painful ingrown nails.
Foot Health Check: Diabetic foot assessments (checking circulation/sensation) and structural checks.
Advice & Education: Guidance on proper footwear, daily foot care routines, and preventive measures.

I am a dedicated and skilled podiatrist, holding a Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine with honours in Diabetic Foot Education, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Human Biology from Macquarie University. I have a strong passion for understanding the human body and its functions, which drives my commitment to providing a comprehensive range of podiatric care. My main areas of interest include ingrown toenails, diabetic foot care, and patient education.

In addition to my clinical expertise, I have gained valuable experience working with individuals with disabilities, having provided support work during my studies. This has deepened my passion for offering compassionate, accessible care to those with diverse needs.

My approach to podiatry is centred around the belief that every individual has a unique experience with common podiatric conditions. Because of this, I focus on tailoring management plans to meet the individual needs of my patients. I strive to provide the best possible outcomes through personalised care, which may include conservative treatments, education, or surgical interventions when necessary.

Wesam completed his Bachelor of Podiatric Medicine (Honours) at Western Sydney University.
 
Wesam has years of experience in different health related industries. He uses the knowledge gained from his different educational backgrounds to get the best results for his patients. Wesam is interested in all aspects of podiatry and has a keen interest in biomechanical assessments, general skin and nail care, manual therapies (including dry needling and massage), musculoskeletal injury rehabilitation, and diabetic foot care.
 
Wesam enjoys working with patients from all diverse backgrounds and has years of patient-based experience.
 
Wesam is fluent in English and Arabic. He enjoys exploring and learning about different languages and cultures. He is an avid traveller and is a big sports fan, specifically soccer and mixed martial arts. Some of his other interests include movies, outdoor adventures, experiencing different foods and spending time with his family and friends.

Antonio has an interest in all aspects of podiatry with a specific interest in dermatology and  functions of the foot and leg during sporting and exercising, influenced by his background in soccer.
 
Beyond podiatry in his spare time, Antonio is an outdoor enthusiast, who enjoys all things nature. He enjoys all sports as well so don’t be shy to pick his brain, especially about soccer.

Our beautiful friend and podiatrist has left us too soon. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family🙏
We are doing all we can to continue to look after Razias patients at this time.
