Our last of last season 🍅💛
These were the final Yellow Cherry Heirloom tomatoes from last year’s harvest. We’ve been holding onto them carefully, knowing we won’t be planting again until April when our dry season starts here in Darwin.
Rather than let the season fade quietly, we turned the last of them into something worth remembering.
Slow cooked into a rich, sweet and gently spicy jam with fresh chillies, garlic and ginger. It’s bright, sticky and full of flavour. Beautiful with cheese, on burgers, or alongside grilled meats.
We made just 5 jars. That’s it. No more until the next harvest.
Find them this Sunday at the Nightcliff Markets in Darwin. Come early if you’d like to take one home.

Good morning from Parap Village Markets 🌧️
It’s raining, it’s 27°C… which basically means winter has arrived for us Darwinites 🤣
Honestly, this is perfect grazing weather.
If you’re wandering the markets this morning, picture this:
Fresh crusty bread.
Beautiful cheeses.
Your favourite cold cuts.
And a generous smear of soft, sweet, sticky black garlic tying it all together.
Our locally made black garlic is aged slowly until it turns dark, caramelised, and rich with that deep umami flavour. No harsh bite. Just mellow, savoury sweetness that pairs ridiculously well with a grazing board.
Spread it on warm sourdough.
Add it alongside brie or a sharp cheddar.
Layer it into a sandwich with prosciutto or salami.
It’s the kind of flavour that makes a simple platter feel special. And on a “chilly” 27-degree Darwin morning, that’s exactly what we need.
We’re here at Parap Markets, rain and all. Come say hi, have a taste, and take home something perfect for your weekend spread.

We love seeing where our Umbrawarra beeswax ends up.
This batch travelled from west of Pine Creek in the NT into the hands of VOAY Bijoux, where it’s used to wax stitching threads for their high-end crocodile handbags. Waxing the thread makes it smoother, stronger, and far easier to work with. It’s a small step that makes a big difference in fine leatherwork.
Knowing our local beeswax plays a part in pieces crafted from Australian Porosus crocodile, designed for truly special evenings, is something we’re proud of. Natural, practical, and made to last. Just the way we like it.

🌞 Good morning Darwin!
We’re all set for another vibrant Sunday at Nightcliff Markets with Livingstone Orchards.
Today we’re shining a light on our local honey harvested west of Pine Creek, near Umbrawarra Gorge. Our hives sit along Stray Creek, where the bees have fresh water every day and feed on the large eucalypts growing along the waterway. These trees are very different from Darwin’s open woodland — bigger, older, and growing in a tropical savanna climate — and you can taste the difference in the honey.
