Based at Coolalinga Shopping Centre, NT, Tearna is living through her weaving – creating meaningful pieces that celebrate Aboriginal culture while supporting her journey as an artist and small business owner.

Made a pastry with black garlic, Greek feta, spring onion, Yu tasi mustard leaves.

Because the offspring are off gallivanting in Greece, and I’m out here coping the only way I know how: butter, layers, and emotional eating.

Mummy’s day off hits different when there’s no one asking what’s for dinner and no socks mysteriously multiplying in the wash.

If you know, you know... that deep, savory, punch-you-in-the-face deliciousness that only belacan brings! 😍 Made from tiny shrimp, salt, and patience, this powerhouse paste is sun-dried, fermented, and packed with bold flavour. We toast it, mix it with chillies, ginger, turmeric, garlic, onions, and lime – and just like that, your tastebuds are in heaven. 🌈🔥

This is our mum’s recipe – the OG condiment we’ve grown up with and can’t eat a meal without. Whether it’s with noodles, fried rice, tossed through pumpkin tips, or (yes, even) slathered on toast – it just hits different. 😆🍤
