💛REAL HONEST SHARE - One I have been meaning to express for quite some time 💛

Life can sometimes feel like one big balancing act.

So many balls in the air…
So many roles to play…
So many hats to wear.

I can only really speak from my own experience — as a woman, a mum, a partner, and a business owner. Some days it feels like I’m constantly shifting between roles, trying to keep everything moving, everything supported, everything working.

And then there’s the journey of getting older.

Continuing to move your body, exercise, challenge yourself… while also noticing that your body may not be quite as resilient as it once was. Learning to listen to it more. Learning to respect it more.

And layered on top of that is the quiet (and sometimes not so quiet) pressure that women feel to stay looking young.

The idea that women in their 50s should look like they’re in their 40s…
and women in their 40s should look like they’re in their 30s... and so on

When you really stop and think about it, it’s a pretty exhausting and unrealistic expectation.

I truly hope that one day we can collectively soften that narrative.

Because there is so much beauty in actually looking the age that we are.

There is wisdom there.
There is life lived there.
Every line on a face is a moment in time… an expression, a memory, a story.

And yet so much of the world encourages us to erase those stories.

What if instead we could look in the mirror and see the beauty in the life we’ve lived?

The laughter.
The lessons.
The growth.

And perhaps what’s even more important than trying to erase the years… is learning how to care for the system that carries us through them.

Our nervous system is the driver of our entire being.

It influences how we think.
How we feel.
How we respond to stress.
Whether our bodies move toward health or toward illness.

Maybe the real investment we need to make isn’t in trying to erase the stories from our faces…

But in learning how to regulate, support and nourish our nervous systems.

Because when our nervous system is balanced, everything in our lives begins to feel a little more balanced too.

And maybe that’s the kind of balance we’re really looking for.

There is something so special about being in a space where I can support my fellow facilitators — not just in what I do, but in what we create together as a community.

For me, it’s never only about one person’s offering. It’s about the collective. The way we come together to raise the vibration of healing, love, compassion, connection and shared growth. There is such power in that unity.

I’m so honoured to be supporting my beautiful brother Chad at his upcoming Freedom Warrior Breathwork on March 29th in Tugun. He holds these powerful sessions at the Tugun Community Centre, guiding people through an incredible breathwork experience infused with sound medicine and deep energetic frequency.

I’ve personally experienced a one-on-one session with Chad, and the depth he brings — through breath, vibration, and presence — is truly something special. His work creates space for release, clarity, activation and healing.

As I was doing my bike training this morning at 5am, I was lucky enough to see the moon setting before the sun rose.

There’s something about the full moon that always stirs me — not sadness, just depth. A soft emotional connection back to myself. It draws me inward. It feels like a time of reflection… a pause in the constant movement of life… a moment to sit in the aura of the beauty that is always around us.

Tonight we shift into a rare blood full moon.

A blood moon, during a lunar eclipse, happens when the Earth moves between the sun and the moon, casting a shadow and tinting the moon in deep red hues. Symbolically, it represents culmination and transformation. It’s the closing of a cycle. Illumination of what has been hidden. A gentle — or sometimes powerful — invitation to release what no longer aligns.

Full moons are known as times of heightened emotion because they shine light into the darker, quieter corners within us. A blood moon amplifies that energy. It can feel like a deep inner clearing. A remembering. A recalibration.

So whether you can see it tonight or not, perhaps take a little time between 9 and 10pm to sit. To breathe. To feel. To observe without judgement.

What is being illuminated for you?
What is ready to soften?
What are you ready to let go of?

Let it be less about ritual and more about presence. Less about doing and more about listening.

The moon is always there — constant, steady — even when it changes form. Just like you.

Over the weekend I had the honour of holding space and guiding the incredible women at Wisdom for Women – Rise and Radiate Retreat.

What a powerful and deeply moving experience.

To witness women reconnect with themselves through something as simple — and as profound — as the breath is pure magic. The breath is such a gentle yet powerful bridge back to the body. Back to truth. Back to feeling.

So often our minds want to lead, to control, to analyse. We live in our heads and slowly forget how to truly feel. And then… something shifts. The breath softens the armour. The walls melt. And you see women return home to themselves.

Watching that unfold lights up my soul in ways I can’t quite put into words.

I am so incredibly humbled to do this work. It doesn’t feel like “work” — it feels sacred. I truly believe we all carry something meaningful to share with the world, and I feel deeply blessed to be walking this path. 💛✨

✨ Perimenopause & Menopause — The Wise Woman Season ✨

I am officially in Wise Woman Season…What I can say is this — I’ve chosen to embrace it. I can’t go back in time, and truthfully, I feel proud of how I’ve honoured my body over the years. I genuinely believe that has shaped how I’m experiencing this transition.

That doesn’t mean there aren’t symptoms.

For me, it’s been the intense heat that radiates from my body at times and waking during the night for a few hours. Hormonal shifts — particularly fluctuating and declining estrogen — can increase cortisol sensitivity in the body. And when cortisol rises, the nervous system can feel wired, stressed and overstimulated.

Perimenopause and menopause can bring:
• Hot flushes
• Sleep disruption
• Mood changes
• Increased stress sensitivity
• Digestive changes
• Brain fog
• Fatigue

And yet… we don’t talk about it enough.

I think about when my mum went through it. She struggled. There wasn’t much support. It was just “part of getting older” — deal with it. Women are resilient. We carry on. We push through.

But perhaps this season is asking something different of us.

Perhaps it’s asking us to slow down.
To rest deeper.
To listen more closely.
To honour that we are wiser now.

Looking after my nervous system, digestive health and having regular Spinal Flow sessions has made a real difference for me. Supporting the body back into safety — back into parasympathetic rest-and-digest mode — helps ease that internal stress response.

I don’t know about you… but I have been feeling the shifts.

The deep shedding.
The unraveling.
The quiet return to something softer… something younger… something safe.

It feels like the final skin loosening — the snake releasing what it has outgrown.
Layer by layer. Identity by identity.
Old stories slipping gently to the earth.

This past week has asked me to rest.
To coil inward.
To sit in stillness and allow the energy to move toward letting go.

And if I’m honest… it has been uncomfortable.

Funny how silence can feel louder than noise.
How being alone with ourselves can feel harder than the rush of doing.
We are so conditioned to move, to achieve, to fill the space.

Yet in the quiet… something sacred happens.

And now, I can feel a new current rising.

Courage.
Strength.
Pride.
Virtue.

As we step into the Year of the Horse — the Fire Horse — it does not mean we must gallop wildly into the next chapter. Power does not require frenzy.

The horse teaches us something deeper.

Did you know digestion literally slows down when your nervous system is stressed?

When your body shifts into fight-or-flight, survival becomes the priority — not digestion.
Blood flow moves away from your gut.
Stomach acid and enzymes reduce.
Motility slows.

Your body isn’t trying to harm you — it’s trying to protect you.

Now layer on modern life…

Long hours sitting.
Slouching over phones and laptops.
Poor spinal alignment.
Shallow breathing.

Your organs sit under constant mechanical pressure. Your diaphragm can’t move freely. Your nervous system stays on alert.

And I don’t know about you…
But when I’m stressed and on the run, I tend to do everything that way — including eating.

Scoffing down my food.
Standing at the bench.
Eating in the car.
Multitasking while chewing.

Just trying to get more done.

And in doing that, I add to the very problem so many of us are living in — keeping the nervous system stuck in “doing, doing, doing” mode… and rarely allowing true rest.

How is our body meant to digest food when the brain is hyper-focused on everything else?

Digestion requires safety.
Presence.
Breath.

You can’t fully digest food — or life — when your body feels unsafe.

If your system perceives stress (physical, emotional, chemical), it will always prioritise protection over healing.
