🐣🌸 Happy Easter from all of us at adaptCARE 🌸🐣

What a beautiful time of year to pause, reflect and enjoy the simple things, connection, laughter and a few well-earned treats along the way.

The adaptCARE Easter Bunny has been very busy hopping between our SIL homes, leaving behind not just chocolate, but plenty of smiles, laughter and special moments. It’s been incredible to see the joy across our homes and community, these are the moments that truly matter.

To our amazing participants, thank you for bringing the energy, the smiles and the spirit that makes what we do so meaningful.

To our dedicated staff, thank you for the care, effort and heart you bring every single day, even during the busy holiday periods.

And to our wider community, thank you for continuing to support and walk alongside us.

And a special thank you to Brett for jumping into the suit and bringing the Easter Bunny to life across our homes 🐰👏 Your effort, energy and willingness to get involved created some truly special moments for our participants, and plenty of smiles along the way.

Tina had an absolutely incredible evening soaking in the atmosphere, enjoying some amazing live music, and sharing plenty of smiles along the way 🎶✨

From meeting the talented Ash Grunwald to dancing the night away, it’s safe to say Tina was completely smitten 😍🧡 Moments like these are what it’s all about, connection, joy, and creating experiences that truly matter.

Sometimes you’ve just got to get the office crew out from behind the desks… and today it was all about ducking around 🦆😄

From riverside laughs and duck spotting to piling into the car like a bunch of kids on a school trip, this is what it’s all about. Not just a team… but a group of good humans who genuinely enjoy each other’s company. (it’s a shame we didn’t have a bus big enough to fit everyone hahaha)

Moments like this matter. They build connection, trust, and that culture we talk about every day, the kind that flows through to the way we support our participants and each other.

I’m extremely Proud of our entire office crew 🧡
(And yes… productivity may have taken a slight hit thanks to the ducks 😂)

🌿 Out in Nature with Clint 🎣

There’s something pretty special about getting out into the fresh air, slowing things down, and just enjoying what’s around you 🌏

Over the past few weeks, Clint has been doing exactly that, exploring the wilderness, taking in some incredible views, cooling off in the creek, and spending some quality time fishing 🎣

From casting a line by the riverbank to relaxing by the water and taking in the sounds of nature, these moments are what community access is all about, freedom, choice, and doing the things you genuinely enjoy 💚

And by the looks of it… a pretty successful fishing trip too! 👏🐟

At adaptCARE, we love seeing people connect with nature, build confidence, and create meaningful experiences, because it’s not just about support, it’s about living.

adaptCARE currently has a Supported Independent Living (SIL) vacancy available in a 3-bedroom home in Perth, and we’re looking to find the right participant to create a positive, stable, and respectful shared living environment.

This is a great opportunity for someone seeking a calm, low-demand household with the right level of support in place.

About the Home
✔️ Single-storey (no stairs)
✔️ 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
✔️ Spacious bedroom available
✔️ Shared bathroom arrangement
⚠️ Not suitable for high-level mobility supports (e.g. hoists or fitted wheelchairs)

Current Household
👤 Male co-tenant in his 60s
🧠 Living with dementia and age-related decline
🤝 Low social engagement household environment.

Support Model
• 1:2 shared supports
• Inactive sleepover
• Additional 1:1 community access supports.

Who Would Be a Great Fit?
We’re ideally looking for a participant who:
✔️ Is male and suited to a compatible age mix
✔️ Has SIL funding aligned to a 1:2 model
✔️ Enjoys their own space and independent routines
✔️ Is relaxed and comfortable in a quieter household
✔️ Is open to a supported meet-and-greet and transition process.
