COVID Info:
If COVID restrictions prevent us from meeting in person, you can have the opportunity of attending any classes you miss at a later date.
The Meditation for beginners course will be running the first 6 weeks of term 3, which leaves a catch up period of 4 weeks of this term to complete the course.

For those of you who have inquired as to the program of the up coming Meditation for Beginners Course.

Week 1. What is Meditation - Welcome Introduction -
A exploration of the history of meditation how we perceive it today. A greater understanding of it's value and how we can apply it in our everyday lives.

Week 2. Sensory Experience of our World -
The benefits of surroundings through our senses or visualisation.

Week 3. Breath - Exploring the breath & calming the mind & body. Focus- some science based theory to help understand the benefits.

Week 4. Body Scan - Going within, deeper levels of awareness.

Week 5. Mantra/Affirmations - What are they used for & why do they help.

Week 6. Thoughts /Emotions - Learning to accept our thoughts/emotions as channels of awareness, to create new beliefs, In acceptance we learn Self Kindness.

Driven By Contrast -
We recognise contrast as we find ourselves in situations that are not pleasing for us.
Our emotions tell us that this is not how we would like it to be.

The Contrast gives birth to Your Desire for change.
Being motivated by what you don't want?
If you know what you don't want - Then you must know to some degree what you DO want!
This is what creates MOTIVATION TO CHANGE.

Creation from Motivation which is driven from -
🔘 Urgency
🔘 Got to get this done
🔘 Have Irritation - at yourself or others
🔘 Trying to push yourself through

This style of Creation will not work because the emotion is driven from what you don't want:
It comes from FEAR - lack of or not enough
We set the low vibration from our fear based thinking.
This creates more Contrast. This is why we suffer overwhelm, stress & anxiety, we are operating from survival mode.
Creating this way makes it hard work, usually ending with little or no results.

Creation by Inspiration through expectation:
Imagine life the way you want it to be, Create a different story.
Once you imagine that way then, let it come to you, let it unfold.
The secret is attaching the emotion to what it is that you would love to create with -
💗 Passion
💗 Joy
💗 Happiness
💗 Connection
💗 Sharing

When we Meditate, give ourselves the time to sit, be inward and connect to our inner self, we can feel the emotions on a deeper level.
It is through practice of Meditation we can learn to NOTICE these emotions with enquiry, without judgement, learn to not blame ourselves for our past shadows.
Instead be gentle leading "to do the inner work"in a nurturing caring way.
When we look at ourselves and place in this world, a greater understanding of who we really are becomes more available.

This is where the inspiration comes from, ideas flow through our expression of our ever expanding desires.
Gives us satisfaction we are creating something new, moving forward.

Some practitioners who choose to meditate in the evening like to sit on a chair and meditate while soaking their feet in a bowl of warm soapy water.

As reflexology shows, your entire body is represented by and connected to your feet, meaning that caring for and nurturing that part of your body can bring health and well being to all of your limbs and organs.

Watching the dark slowly turn to light, the sun throws colours across the sky, then with it's brilliance it shows itself in all its glory on the horizon,
The beginning of a new day, always Today.
There is nothing like this moment, as each day it is different. It is here in the Now that the magic happens.
The moment is always Now.
This moment is only for me, as only I can see this sunrise from where I am, if it is seen by someone else it is their moment as it is from a different angle, different place, different perspective.

Your Emotional Compass needs regular maintenance.

If you are struggling with emotions at the moment it could be the STRAWBERRY FULL MOON happening over the next few days.

If you feel that it is time for you to include some regular SELF KINDNESS into your life, then perhaps Meditation 🧘 would be of benefit.

I know myself first hand how emotions can create stress in everyday living, I tried to work through the emotions but then came the big moment, a total melt down.

Why is it that we have to experience these huge down turns before we find the solutions?
Perhaps that is because in that moment, that is when we really take notice.

But it doesn't have to be that way. We can create the space of internal curiosity, before it all gets too much.

This is the reason I am passionate 🥰 about Teaching Meditation to those who are seeking peace, happiness, and discovering who they really are, finding their connection to their inner world.

Perhaps the idea of getting with others in the same room to simply have time out, and relieving the stresses of the day.
