It can be incredibly worrying and frustrating if your child is not one of them. The myriad of conflicting information about how to help can compound the challenges.

I can be that ally. I’m passionate about working with families to get the best possible outcomes for them and their child. I make sure they have the best, most accurate and current information so they can be confident what they are doing works.

About Lydelle

Lydelle is the Owner and Principle of Connecting Dots For Kids, and has extensive experience working with children with a range of communication difficulties. She works individually with children, with their parents, and with early childhood professionals to accelerate communication skills development in order for them to have more rewarding relationships and fulfilling lives.

Lydelle uses her specialist training in all areas of communication, additional studies in Inclusive Education and linguistics and her hands on experience, to change kid’s lives by improving their communication. Her experience includes helping hundreds of children to speak clearly, understand instructions, have conversations, and build relationships.

Lydelle’s flexible approach gets reluctant kids learning and developing skills without realising it. The children enjoy learning and becoming successful communicators, parents gain confidence supporting their child’s development, and the whole family benefits from stronger connections as a result.

Connecting Dots For Kids is a mobile speech pathology service across West and South Gippsland from our base in Drouin. We primarily see children in their home, school or Kindergarten.

If you feel your child may have an issue with their ability communicate, we offer a free 15 minute phone consultation to assess and address your concerns. We will listen, gather some information from you about your child’s skills, and advise you as to the most appropriate next steps, whether these are some tips to implement at home or a recommendation and quote for a formal assessment.
