Safety and security are a blessing in this life,
especially in a relationship.
We all have scars, bumps and bruises from our past and to share these and your whole self to someone takes true courage and strength.
This is done only in hopes that the other person can meet you on that ledge, hold your hand and take the dive into the unknown, knowing that no matter what happens you have each other and that's all that matters.
But what happens, if that person says they'll meet you there and never shows?
Or they show but never jump?
This is the biggest risk, that you show all of yourself to someone and they aren't ready to see or hold that. To take that dive and for them to appreciate your scars, as a reminder they brought you together.
If you have the relationship that holds, sees and feels you, for who you are, then honour that.
And if you haven't yet, then don't worry, because I can assure you, that it's the work that you do on your own, that deepens the safety and security within.
This is what sets you up for that relationship and the most important thing you can bring.
People attract what they are ready to receive.
Don't stop until it feels safe.
