🌻✨ From Seed to Bloom ✨🌻
I grew this sunflower from a single seed—well, more like I tossed it into the pot and hoped for the best.
Over the past 4 months, I’ve watched it sprout through the cold of winter, weather storms, and slowly stretch taller toward the light. At one point, my husband almost pulled it out thinking it was a w**d (thankfully, he asked first 🥴).
A few weeks ago, tiny buds began to form, and on the rare sunny days, this flower opened itself wide to welcome the sun. Now, I get to marvel at its beauty and resilience.
It reminded me how much this mirrors life—when we plant a seed of thought, an intention, or a dream, we have to nurture it with patience, even when it looks like nothing is happening. We can’t rip it out too soon because we’re impatient to see it bloom.
If we trust the process, eventually, we get to stand in awe of what we’ve grown. 🌻💛
