Tips Working from Home:

Working from home can be a lonely enterprise in this era of social distancing, but it doesn't have to be. For those who are not used to working at home or who don’t have an organized work station, distractions can disrupt your productivity. After all, you’re in your personal space, not your usual professional environment.
• Create a working environment you feel comfortable and good in. You work from home not at home.
• Have the right tools for the job
• Set goals short term and long term then break them down into Quarterly Monthly, Weekly and Daily. Its important to know what your end goal is so you can create a plan to achieve this. When broken down into bite size pieces its less overwhelming and keeps you more motivated: Sufficient motivation and Task = Productivity.
• Have strategy plan: Write up a to do list or game plan daily, weekly, monthly and cross off completed tasks as you go, diarize daily your scheduled meetings, perhaps set up alerts for scheduled meeting and consider having different ringtones for different people
• Find your balance schedule breaks, exercise and scheduled social interaction with friend or colleagues. Healthy Body = Healthy Mind
• Making time for rest and relaxation is crucial to avoid feeling disconnected and helps you to feel refreshed and motivated.
• Look to reduce screen time by doing other activities meditation, cooking and going for a walk in the open air
• Using the time to self-develop and educate, something you don’t know or take up a new hobby.
• Learn to keep social media and news at a minimum
• Finally Dress for Success
Tip: At the end of the day wash your face and hands A simple metaphor cleaning the slate helps us mentally wipe doubts and misgiving we might have.
Its important to remember to keep your attitude in check. Above all, be creative and don't let your confined circumstances minimize your happiness or productivity. Your greatest power is your perspective. It can victimize you (be aware of your internal critic) or empower you!
When you look for the upside in a downside situation and figure out what you can control and what you can't, it’s easier to accept whatever is beyond your control. Your best ally is to find the opportunity in the difficulty during an uncontrollable situation instead of the difficulty in the opportunity.

All the best and keep safe

Whether we're living alone or with family we all need to practice love, compassion, kindness and connection, especially gratitude to all our amazing front line workers for their dedication, commitment and bravery during these trying and challenging times.

We also need to remember that the relationship we have with our selves is important, sure we have unconditional love for our family and loved ones but we need to extend this to ourselves... so value yourself worth, your authentic and lovable self and remember to be your best friend.

"You yourself as much as anybody else deserves your love and affection."

Stay safe and remember if I can be of any assistance please don't hesitate to contact me even if it is for a chat.
