The most powerful component of our ability to have and maintain vibrant health is the
state of our mind.

Our true sense of well-being comes
when the body, mind, heart and spirit are working harmoniously. Therefore a shift in consciousness is a
necessary component for physical change.

The role of prana (energy life force) 101 🌱

All living things absorb energy from the elements and the sun and the moon to grow. That process takes prana and it creates prana. When we consume food that is fresh, vibrant and succulent it is full of prana. We, as living beings absorb that, just like food does from our natural world that keeps us alive.

Take this beetroot. Take a moment to observe it. Really look at it. What do you see?

Want to feel good? Eat fresh whole food. Go to your farmers market. That’s where I got this massive beet. Drop the packaged processed stuff from your diet. It has little to no prana in it and is doing you no favours.

Sutra 1.14: Practice becomes firmly established only when attended for a long time unceasingly with devotion ✨

The value in yoga and Ayurveda is more than something we do with our bodies twice a week. When practiced authentically and with routine purpose, it has the infinite potential to be the very foundation by which we live everyday. As routine as brushing your teeth, practices become second nature when we return to them routinely. It’s how we connect, purify, align and return to balance. With ourselves, the divine, our community and our Self.

In Yoga we call this Sadhana. In Ayurveda, daily routine is described as Dinacharya. Combined, and you have a recipe for vitality, connection, confidence, clarity and peace.

SPICES & AYURVEDA WORKSHOP - Sunday 26 October 2025 🔥 This intimate workshop will help you recognise the six Ayurvedic tastes (the SHAD RASA) and how having all six shad rasa in your food will promote health, help you return to balance and support you to feel more contentment with your food. The shad rasa are made up of the elements, as all food is nature.

In this workshop, you'll create a few spice blends and learn how the qualities of food affect your ability to digest, which is central to your holistic wellbeing.

You'll take home your spicy goodies too! You'll also learn about the three components that make up healthy Ahar (diet) and some of the effects foods have on your body and mind at different stages throughout the digestive process. Curious?

Spices have been used for thousands of years around the world, and in Ayurveda, as a form of medicine. They can be used to enhance the digestive properties of a meal, aiding in the removal of impurities from the body and promoting balance. Each spice, fresh or ground, has a different quality. Your awareness of this can help you decide what you use, when and why. Complimentary spiced tea will be served and explained during the session 🥰 Book now through our website 👆
