ENVISAGE families is a free, ecidence based program aimed at empowering and connecting families and caregivers of children with developmental delays and disabilities aged 0-8years. How did your child sleep last night? Studies show that 80% of children with neurodisabilities (CP, ASD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Chromosomal conditions, Muscular Dystrophy etc) have sleep problems. This can be caused by anatomical differences, sleep apnea, behavioural problems, medications, anxiety, seizures, tone and poor circadian rhythms. Poor sleep affects the health of the child and the whole family, and many families don't seek help for this - so if this is affecting your family, make sure you speak to your healthcare provider about a referral to a sleep specialist to help.

Hi All,

As Disability focused Paediatric Physiotherapists, this fundraiser is very close to our hearts.

During the years of 24/25 we collected and stored a number of donated and much needed disability equipment from the families we work with (thank you!), which are destined to go to an amazing partner organisation, Frank Hilton, in Fiji. (www.frankhilton.org.fj)

We secured transport from Australia to Fiji however the shipment departs from Victoria and are now fundraising to pay for the transport from Adelaide to Melbourne.

Tan will be travelling to Fiji this coming July to volunteer at the project and would love for the equipment to be there or at least on its way by the time she gets there.

The fundraiser is solely to help us pay for transport of equipment. If, by any chance we exceed our target, the remaining amount will be saved for transport of equipment prior to our next trip which hopefully will be a joint trip where Jordy and Tan will volunteer together.

Any donations to help us get this equipment out of our sheds and travelling to some much deserving children and families would be greatly appreciated.
