"Thank you so much for the scholarship for the BradCliff Method level 1 course. I work as a physiotherapist in a private community setting in Mackay in regional Queensland, Australia. My caseload is primarily neurological and respiratory conditions. I have worked across different settings from intensive care and acute medical, to rehabilitation and disability services. This is such a fantastic opportunity for me to enhance my skills in respiratory care and expand my knowledge base. This will help improve the quality of life for people in my community with breathing pattern disorders and other respiratory conditions." - Megan Dunlop

~National Amputee Awareness Week~

Great to see Mackay Regional Council shining a light on the number of people in Australia with limb loss and reminding all amputees that they are not alone.

Limbs 4 Life Australia empowers amputees and their support networks by providing valuable peer support and evidence based health information resources for people with limb loss.

Amputation occurs every hour in Australia, making amputees one of our largest physical disability communities. Become ‘amputee aware’ during National Amputee Awareness Week https://bit.ly/3Dglxwl

CARER GATEWAY: This 2 min video is by Cate and Bronte Campbell who have a brother with CP. The sisters are promoting the Carer Gateway, which is provided by the Australian Government. It offers free counselling and online supports to carers, parents & siblings. Share the link with families who may benefit from accessing services in the Carer Gateway, but also because these champions really help bring attention to families in a relatable and positive way.
