Today we mark exactly one year since we first opened our doors at The Discovery Health Centre. Dr Reeshma Pattan
MBBS, FRACGP, DCH [Dip Child Health]

We are pleased to welcome Dr Reeshma Pattan to The Discovery Health Centre.
Dr Reeshma is a caring and experienced GP who has been looking after families in Mackay for the past seven years. Before moving into general practice, she trained and worked extensively in Paediatrics in India and Australia. She went on to gain broad experience across various medical specialties in major Australian hospitals, including Royal Hobart Hospital, Monash Health and Mackay Base Hospital.

Dr Reeshma enjoys all aspects of family medicine and has a particular interest in women’s health and mental health. She is especially passionate about helping children with behavioural and developmental concerns, including ADHD, and supporting their families through the process.
She believes in taking a holistic, compassionate approach to care and values building long-term relationships with her patients.
