At the beginning of the year, I listened to a podcast episode with Mike Rucker all about fun and how we spend our leisure time. Key takeaways?

😊 You don’t have to be happy to make time for fun, but making time for fun will (almost definitely) increase your happiness.

📝 Making a “Fun File” of 8-15 things that interest you and light you up a bit can help you to stop reaching for your phone when you’ve got a bit of downtime.

And so, armed with NO artistic experience or talent, just some curiosity, a few 10 minute sessions alongside my kids over the last two years and a couple of Instagram tutorials (), and VIOLA! This was SO fun. Like staying-up-after-the-kids go-to-bed fun. Like, my mind is looking at all the flowers/trees/landscapes I walk past now and noticing colours/shapes/angles. I definitely have the bug now 😅

It’s been a hot minute (or 48,546 of them) since I’ve updated the socials, but life with 3 under 4 is a bit like that 🙈 Matt and I welcomed our son, Michael, into the world back in early November and we’re slowly but surely settling into our groove ❤️ I even mopped the floor today 😱

Expecting my elbows to be back on deck sometime in April. My brain hopefully won’t be too far behind 😂😂 Looking forward to catching up with you all again soon!!
