MARIA MERLO
Pharmacy Assistant

Maria has been in the pharmacy industry for over 30 years. Her first job was at the Melbourne University campus in the mid 1980’s where she worked for 3 years. She later managed a large pharmacy in Brunswick for 10 years. She paused her career whilst she raised her 2 beautiful daughters and returned to pharmacy (Macleod Pharmacy) where she still remains after 16 years. With over 30 years experience, she still loves her job and looks forward to going to work everyday.

Maria loves food and enjoys cooking for her family and friends. She went to her parents’ hometown in Italy and since then, she absolutely loves experimenting with food from different regions around Italy. Macleod Village

Pharmacist in Charge/Proprietor

John started his career in pharmacy as a pharmacy student in 2002 whilst undergoing his Bachelor of Pharmacy study. He subsequently graduated in 2006 with Bachelor of Pharmacy (Honours) and he is also trained to perform various vaccinations/immunisations. John has extensive experience in running a pharmacy and is always approachable & available for a chat in all things pharmacy.

John enjoys spending time with his young family during his time away from work and he is a mad Manchester United supporter. Macleod Village

Pharmacy Assistant

Ann is a Pharmacy Assistant with over 30 years experience in all things pharmacy and was awarded the Pharmacy Assistant of the year in 1997, 1998 and 1999. She is passionate about helping people from choosing the perfect gift to recommending the right vitamin/supplement. She is a bubbly person who will always take the time to assist you.

Away from work, Ann enjoys travelling, cooking, hiking and playing mahjong. Macleod Village
