The Maffra Men's Shed Maffra Men's Shed commenced operating in January 2018.

We are a totally voluntary, community based, not for profit group who strive to provide a secure meeting place for our members to enable them to take part in a wide range of shed activities.

Our Statement of Purpose
The Maffra Men’s Shed is a totally voluntary, community-based, not-for-profit and non-commercial organization that is accessible to people of all ages living in the surrounding area.
Our primary objective is to advance the health and wellbeing of our members and to encourage social inclusion and the prevention of social isolation. We aim to achieve this via the provision of a safe, friendly and welcoming facility where people are able to work with tools and equipment and can participate in meaningful projects and activities at their own pace, in a relaxed environment and in the company of other people.

If you are travelling please stay safe on the roads and look out for the Driver Reviver stations if you need a rest.

For everyone working, please take some time to rest and relax as well. Remember to be kind to anyone working this weekend.

A BIG Thank You to everyone who came yesterday to help celebrate the Grand Opening of the Maffra Men's and Women's Shed.

We had a wonderful turn out and our speakers did a brilliant job. The Maffra Lioness's afternoon tea was delicious too.

Again thank you to everyone who helped make this amazing community space happen and here's to seeing new faces.

So he who holds the stick, holds the power.
The power to talk, to express themselves and be heard.

You don't have to delve deep but the option is there and we are here. You don't even have to take the stick, you can just observe, listen and support others.
