Two basic stretches to reduce headache instantly.
The first targets up center top of the neck. Bring your two hands together behind your head, relax your neck, and pull your neck downwards using your two hands.
The second targets the side muscles running down the neck and into the shoulders. Have one hand pressing down on the hip, and the other pulling your head in the opposite direction. Now pull your neck to the other side, and change the roles of your hands. By changing the location of where you’re pulling your neck, you can gain different results. Try changing your angle on how you pull your neck. I don’t count the time of the stretch personally. A stretch for me can last in-between 10 seconds to a minute. Listen to your body. Once you feel like your muscle has loosen up, the headache is fading or your body is telling you that it needs a break, then either change the stretch, or take time to rest. Do it whenever you get the time. These two stretches work like a charm!
