After the usual busyness of Christmas I was more than happy to have a day of avoiding a 'To-do list'
Instead I created a 'what I want to do' list.
I thought after spending time getting my house in some order that I needed to rest but I thought I'll give the garden a bit of attention for about half an hour.
Then two and a half hours later I came inside not even feeling tiredš¤
I think that's called being In Flow.
I managed to get rid of old winter vegetables - still some carrots to harvest- prepare the beds for summer planting.
They're empty now, not an interesting photo but I also planted some seedlings.
Hopefully in a month or so time I can put them into the rejuvenated garden beds.
With a bit of compost, water TLC and some tiny seeds they will produce more yummy produce for summer. You've got to admire mother nature...
I didn't feel I had the energy for much activity today but being in the garden somehow grounds me, brings me back to myself and often helps me feel very grateful.
I also found this delightful Budlea bush has produced stunning coloured flowers...
I hope you get a chance to create a 'What you want to do' list over the holiday breakš
