Your skin clinic getting ready for Melanoma March this Sunday… and realising none of us should quit our day jobs for dancing. 💃 The best part was getting Dr Ricky to shake his hips 🙈

Our dancing might be ridiculous, but the cause definitely isn’t. Skin cancer affects so many of our patients and people in our community, which is why supporting this event means so much to us here at Elixir Skin Cancer Clinic.

Australia has one of the highest rates of melanoma in the world, where one Aussie dies from melanoma every 6 hours. Early detection truly saves lives.

On Sunday 8 March, our local community is coming together at Nobby’s Beach for Melanoma March Newcastle, an annual event supporting Melanoma Institute Australia, the world’s leading melanoma research institute.

Melanoma March brings together patients, families, clinicians and the wider community to:
• raise awareness about melanoma
• fund life-saving research
• support the mission of zero deaths from melanoma this decade

At Elixir Skin Cancer Clinic, this cause is close to our hearts. Prevention, education and early detection are powerful — but research is what changes outcomes.
