Practice Manager

Eacham Medical Centre is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified candidates who are looking for a career in management.

You will showcase the following skills:

Key duties will include:

- Effective, positive supervision and leadership of team members
- Managing all operational elements, including policies, procedures and compliance
- Coordinating recruitment of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Reviewing and monitoring systems, processes and procedures alongside recognising and implementing changes and improvements as necessary

Dear patients, from the 1st of April there will be changes in our billing policy. Due to the increase in costs we will be charging all Aged Pensioners and patients under 16 a once yearly fee. All other patients will be charged a fee - reduced rates if you are a concession card holder. There will be an out of pocket expense for excisions, and ECGs will be $40 (excluding Aged Pensioners). Please call in and speak to one of our staff for further questions.

The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) has partnered with Parkrun Australia to promote the health and wellbeing of staff and patients. Eacham Medical Centre are proud to be a part of this initiative as a "Parkrun Practice". The staff of Eacham Medical Centre will be helping out at this weekend's Parkrun in Atherton so pop over to say hi and join in!

An opportunity has arisen for a General Practitioner to join our team, ideally on a full-time basis but flexibility in hours is an option for the right applicant. This is a contracted position with weekly percentage calculations of total billings. The successful applicant must have, or be able to provide the following:

- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Current AHPRA registration
- Vocational Registration with either RACGP or ACRRM
- Current medical indemnity insurance
- Details of DWS status

Eacham Medical Centre is an accredited, owner-operated clinic located in the spectacular Atherton Tablelands, an hour and a half drive from Cairns. We are a vibrant, friendly clinic offering mixed billing and servicing a broad demographic. We provide a number of clinical services including, but not limited to, woman's health, excisions and skin care, chronic disease management, ATSI health, mental health, and aged care.
