Today our team closed the office for our quarterly training day - but this time, we took it on the road!

We spent the day at STEPS Pathway College in Caloundra, learning about their incredible programs that empower young adults with disabilities to live independently and thrive.

It was inspiring to see firsthand the work they do, and we’re proud to support such an important initiative in our community.

We’re hiring!!

We’re looking for a Part-Time Administration Assistant to join us on Tuesdays and Fridays each week, helping keep our practice running smoothly and our families supported.

This role is at the heart of our practice. You’ll be the first friendly face (or voice!) families connect with and the person who helps make everything run behind the scenes.

Your day might include:
- Welcoming families and making them feel comfortable.
- Contributing to a fun and supportive environment where everyone feels valued.
- Managing inboxes, phone calls, scheduling, and general practice admin.
- Ensuring the office is clean and well stocked.
- Adding value to the business based on your own individual interests and strengths.

We’re looking for someone who:
- Has experience in the allied health industry
- Shares our values of care, inclusion, and collaboration
- Is reliable, organised and proactive
- Ideally has experience with the NDIS
- Enjoys working both independently and as part of a team

Did you know .com.au offer a Free Community Playgroup every Friday during school term.

📅 When: Fridays, 9:00AM – 11:00AM, during school term
📍 Where: 17 Bunya Street, Maleny (parking available on Lawyer Street)
👶 Who: Children aged 0–6 years, and their parents/carers

This playgroup is a wonderful opportunity for kids to explore, play, and socialise in a fun and supportive environment, while parents and caregivers connect with others in the community.

No bookings required, but if you are interested in coming and are able to let us know the day before, then this does help us prepare.

Play Therapy is such a beautiful, evidence-based way of supporting children using the language of play to help them express feelings, build resilience, and grow in confidence.
