Total Health Choice

Total Health Choice Total Health Choice is a fast growing Organisation. We provide allied health supports to individuals Total Health Choice was founded in 2011 by Sherrie Krampel.

Initially, we specialised in Aged Care but we moved into the NDIS space in 2019 because we feel that both Aged Care and NDIS are synonymous with our core values of Trust, Compassion and Care. Our core purpose is to make a difference to the lives of our vulnerable community on a daily basis. We provide Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Exercise Physiology supports. We help each individual achieve meaningful goals relating to improved independence and quality of life. We are always looking to grow and build on our relationships and we don’t compromise on our service delivery – we genuinely care about the outcomes we can achieve for our patients and that is our point of difference from other providers. We CARE! Our mission is to help each individual achieve meaningful goals relating to improved independence and quality of life. We strive to make a difference! A first fall is rarely a random accident and often signals a decline in balance, strength, or coordination. Treating this initial event as a red flag allows for early intervention and training to prevent a more damaging second fall

A single fall can have a profound impact on an individual’s independence and confidence, even if it does not result in a serious injury. This loss of confidence often leads to decreased activity, which weakens the body and significantly increases the risk of more severe future falls.

Losing the ability to get up from the floor is often dismissed as a normal part of aging when it actually stems from a loss of strength and confidence. Regularly practicing this movement is essential to prevent disuse and ensure you maintain your mobility for years to come.

Returning home from the hospital is only the initial phase of recovery for many seniors. True restoration requires a dedicated effort to rebuild strength and confidence to ensure long-term independence is maintained.

Walkers are often viewed as a sign of defeat rather than a proactive tool for maintaining mobility. Introducing a walker before a crisis occurs can preserve independence and prevent the loss of confidence that follows a fall.

One common misconception is that balance is an innate quality rather than a skill that requires consistent practice. Failing to maintain this skill can lead to a loss of confidence and independence, making regular training essential for long-term health.

We often prioritize reactive medical treatments over the proactive benefits of physical activity. Focusing on strength and mobility now can prevent the need for future interventions.
