This Saturday is World Menopause Day.
Around 80% of women experience one or more significant impacts like hot flushes, sleep disturbances, mood changes such as anxiety, depression, changes in libido, anger, suicidal ideation and work and relationship challenges, with sadly much more besides.
If you or a loved one are struggling and help seems limited, please don’t suffer in silence. Reach out to menopause aware GPs, mental health professionals (such as myself), and/or other services that can support you during this time.
