Volunteer work has been a fantastic next step for one of our participants who has been working hard to find employment opportunities.

Volunteering is not only a great way to gain valuable experience for future employment, it’s also an excellent goal to work towards when exploring different pathways to work. This role gives him the chance to develop new skills, build confidence, and connect with others in the community.

It’s an inspiring step forward, and we are so proud of the commitment and resilience he has shown throughout his journey. 🌟

This week, one of our participants worked towards a personal goal by learning how to pot and plant cuttings — with the generous help of Jess from Jess’s Jungle On Broadbeach! 🌿🪴

Even more special, these weren’t just any cuttings — they were ones our participant had found herself and wanted to keep and care for. With Jess’s guidance, we learned how to transplant, prepare soil, and give these little plants the best start possible.

Together, we potted over 30 cuttings — each one filled with care, pride, and purpose. 💚

We’re so grateful for the opportunity to volunteer and learn in such a nurturing space. Big thanks to Jess for helping bring this goal to life!
